Yea that's right. Every time a kid that they really want but shows no interest in them they say he can't qualify. All that at a school they don't even have to attend class at. As Tom O'Brien would say no syllabus. They will make good use of the NIL scheme all while they hype how wrong NIL is for college football.
Say what you want to Otis but some out there must love them some Tar Heels. Btw, I’ve heard good things about you and your love for HS football. This is all in good fun between rivals, and I was just reporting was I was told on the Clinton player deal. Heard he was visiting unc June 23rd though, so must still have a chance. Idk.
You probably see this on their sports boards. Their sports writers do it. Yea UNC basketball is huge but people don't want to look at how that brand was built. When the guys on states message board figured out changing the link by shortening it would take them to areas not thought to be accessible that is how they found MJ's transcript and saw how he took no show classes. So it went back well into the Dean Smith era. When people look down their noses at others they need to make sure their doors are locked good. That's the mistake they made. And yes it's all good. I've never gotten upset over those throwing off on State. Took that talk for years.
I'll go most anywhere to see a good high school game. It's my most favorite sport. I just have to plan it so I don't miss an important conf game at my own school West Craven.

MJ taking no show classes? Lol be serious when you type. Look at UNC compared to state throughout the nation in regarded universities??? Education at UNC, which I have, is light-years ahead o redheaded stepchild state....
Have you seen the chatter about 7 teams in the ACC looking for more money or possibly dissolving the ACC?
I’m cool with him not going to UNC.Heels haven’t really done much with in state defensive talent as far as development look at Keshawn Silver and Desmond Evans these were 5 star guys and UNC never developed them or used them correctly consistently.

Caleb Love did not have the necessary academic credits to transfer into the University of Michigan, sources tell Fox Sports. @TiptonEdits, @ebosshoops, @trillydonovan all first. @MattNorlander also reporting on academics. Back to the portal for Love.
I bet he thought he was gonna go pro after year 2 or 3, gave up on school then when he found out he wouldn’t make it as a pro he had nothing to fall back on. I remember banchero when at dook saying you don’t go to dook as a basketball player to go to class.
Got out tonight and watched the Clinton Women's Soccer team in the 3rd rd against Southwest Onslow. Another win. Now 22-0-2.
Play Franklin Academy Thursday for another chance at the Final 4. Soccer in Clinton has come along way since the early 2000s.
Saw Darkhorse 04 there. Great guy.
This could be 4 State Championship appearances in the last 4 years. Both 2 each for the Men and Women
Hope the girls can pull it off. Heard it was Coach Smith's last ride.

Who this E. Royal Kid? He could be the next upcoming QB for Clinton if he stay within that area
Ethan Royal incoming freshman been picking up steam for awhile now unfortunately sounds like he will be in Charlotte somewhere playing this fall. But if he stays that’s definitely a good look for the future. His older brother Kris Royal was a standout do everything athlete for Clinton played WR and Safety on the 2014 State runner up team.
04 used to post on here a lot, has he gone into hiding, you ask him why he has stopped? Used to love reading him and DH34’s post on the Dark Horses, The wiz however, that dude is a character lol. Loves his horses though, got to give him that.

Big time offer for Amaris Williams from back to back defending national champions Georgia. As a defensive player the SEC is where you wanna be and right now doesn’t get much bigger then Kirby Smart and that UGA defense.

Thanks something I always enjoyed doing supporting my hometown and alma mater…..some seem to have issues with it why on the Earth I can’t figure out I guess Clinton whipped up on em back in the day now they have some deep trauma or something lol they need to go talk to somebody and get that figured out……but hey that’s what these forums were made for. Talk about your teams, talk about the games, support and acknowledge the players. DH04 probably got tired of the BS just like me it gets old.

They won 5-1 yesterday over Franklin Academy. Will host a tough Manteo team for the Eastern Championship. A rematch with Wheatmore is a possibility.

It don't have to come down to that. Some kids just want to be close to home for family to be able to attend games. But I wouldn't blame him for going to Georgia if he so happens to choose them.
