Congrats to Curtis Simpson. This kid is definitely a game changer on the field. Crest’s offense should have fun dealing with him all night.

I’m just saying that KM and Crest fans all have an idea of what we think will happen. Good or bad.
But the game could go completely the opposite direction than what we think.
I can’t even talk good trash because I’ve only watched KM on YouTube playing inferior competition especially the last few weeks.
Burns and Shelby fans are the only fans I would trust to give an honest opinion because they know good football. But who both teams are now is completely different than when we played them. Plus all them Burns and Shelby fans will just mess with us anyway 😂
Crazy thing is that the possibility of getting this game again in several weeks are pretty high.
My take, Crest can and has showed it can score at will.
Km has veey good front, they can apply pressure.
Crest Defense not been very good, they can piece together holds at times.

Another factor is how fast Crest offense is as a whole in running plays , most good teams hang around for a half but the middle to end of third qtr Crest offense wears down the defense.
This will be the absolute best defense Crest has played all season.

Good thing is that they will be on opposite sides of bracket unless something crazy happens. With one being #1 seed and other #11 most likely. It would take both making it to western finals.
The crazy thing is when you look at the projected brackets the 11 seed seems to have the easier road to the western finals and then the number 1 seed if you take out the advantage of playing at home. According to the projected brackets you have Dudley, West Charlotte, AC Reynolds, Crest all on the same side. I am not saying Hickory and Oak Grove are not good teams but they are not your traditional powerhouses lately compared to the teams above.
West Charlotte will get a 4 or 5 seed and ACR will more than likely get a 8 seed.

Kings Mtn platoons so their defense doesn’t wear down as much during the course of a game. Also the defense is pretty good at getting themselves off the field and adjusting. I suspect that one or two defensive players may see some offensive snaps for KM. KM is pretty solid on all three levels of their defense this year and the front seven is elite. Crest will have to earn every single yard especially after their first drive. One thing I do know is Huskey is not going to have all day to window shop.

KM has home field advantage, has the better defense and special teams....plus they have a all-star coaching staff!!! CS is better than JD Clowney, the dbs are better than Stephon Gilmore so 24- 7- air raid and defense will win the battle at the Mountain....
I think the winner definitely is the #1 seed and loser is #10 seed, as there are only 9 conference champs that qualify for top seeding premium spots... the 10 seed may indeed go further in the playoffs! I'll be there early to get a good seat! It'll only be my 3rd time at KM....

By looking at the stats, he actually had his best passing game against Ashbrook. I think that’s why it looked so ugly was because the officiating was so bad nobody could get in a groove on either team.
Dudley is going to be a serious problem for either team. They are LOADED. West Charlotte is capable of beating Crest or KM. Any of the three teams being on the same side of the west bracket means a very good team is going home early. Tell me who wants to play WC, or the loser of Crest KM in the second or third round.....I’ll hang up and listen

The Crest defense needs to get better in a hurry and KM probably don’t have the offensive fire power, but defense wins rings.

We know that Crest is the greatest offense ever created and that KM shouldn’t bother to show up to their own home game. We have heard it everyday since the summer about the greatness of the Chargers. No one can stop Crest and we will be lucky to hold that offense to 60. The only fans picking KM is KM fans. Everyone else is picking Crest so the Mountaineers are the underdogs. Hopefully KM doesn’t embarrass itself too much against that SUPER TEAM and are able to muster up enough strength and courage to face the monster of a team that is invading John Gamble. We look forward to the opportunity to play against this great team. “Now give Coach his theme music!”

I beg to differ. I want all the Shelby and Burns players to be at THE GAME in Cleveland County. A few of them may question where they would rather be for next season 😊.
