I think the DIFFERENCE will be can KM slow down CREST passing game or can CREST slow down KM running game which team does it better should WIN.
Smart of them to use the OV for a big game and not wasting it on Ashbrook or Huss.
You score 56 points on that defense I would be astonished. If you score more than 30 I'll be impressed.
It would be impressive but the winner of this game will not give a crap how much they score. Just getting the W in this game is all that matters.

My take....and I hate it but it is what it is.
Crest O-line is young...really young. I don't think they can handle the KM defensive front 7. I've seen several instances at the high school level where QBs have put their team on their back and willed the win but I just don't think Tater will be able to with what will be coming at him. KM's defense is better than Gaffney's.
The Crest WRs haven't seen a secondary anywhere close to what they'll see Friday. They'll cover up the WRs long enough to allow the front 4 to put loads of pressure on Tater. If he can escape, he may be able to beat KM with his legs, but if I'm KM I'm just going to spy him the rest of the night.
As proven many times this year, the Crest defense is susceptible to the run. KM may not have to throw the ball much if at all. If KM can control the clock and have methodical drives this game could be a 17-14 or 24-21 kind of game.
Unfortunately, I just don't see the Crest prolific offense putting up a lot of points. And I sure hope it doesn't come down to a field goal otherwise shades of the playoffs last year will be in everyone's heads. "What do you do?" I hate it because I want my wife and kids to celebrate a win Friday, I just don't think its going to happen. I won't be there....I'll be watching my Lions avenge last season's debacles...but I'll be pulling for the Chargers. I pull for the county unless they're playing Shelby, and I have to pull for the Chargers in this one because of the fam.
I hope it is an epic game and lives up to the hype!!

I did that for burns game and burns didn’t have their ship together had to wait and watch others walk in and laugh. Lol. Is there stipulations for these? Like you can only enter one gate with it.
I’ll be honest here; I’ve don’t have a dog in this fight, but this appears to be a heck of a game. If I wasn’t going to be watching my son I would prolly make the 100 mile drive to watch this!! Play safe (no major injuries to either team I mean) but hopefully y’all beat/soften each other up enough that the rest of us have a chance in the playoffs!! Lol.
Yes it will be live streamed through the KM football channel. The KM special teams are pretty good overall but our kickoff coverage has been spotty. We absolutely, positively, better not kick that ball to Green at anytime during this game. I do not need my blood pressure spiking anymore than it already will be lol.
At KM and you're not allowed there either.
Both SHELBY and BURNS have very good OFFENSIVE team's, they SCORED ONLY 31 POINTS combined. CREST does have a very good OFFENSIVE TEAM I GUESS we will FIND out just how GOOD.
Listen SalpNuTs , Crest offense is by far leaps and bounds better than Shelby or Burns

Trying to search my memory Rolodex on the biggest crowds that I can remember for a KM home game. I am sure that this game will match or exceed it with the unseasonably good weather expected this late in year.

The playoff game against AL Brown (I believe it was) in 2008 had a ginormous crowd. Y'all brought in extra bleachers.
This is week 0 of the playoff's. I don't want th bottom half because it's easier. To heck with that crap.

As long as you have that ticket you will get in. Of course most visitors enter on the visitors side.
The KM-Gaffney game in 1999 and the KM-Shelby game in 2019 on the new turf are the first two that come to mind. The 2008 game was the 3A west finals versus Coach Massey and Kannapolis. Yep definitely a huge crowd for that game. It’s been a few.
I agree the Crest offense would score 70 on the Crest defense.

The one variable that concerns me. Playing on turf. While i can't wait to see our speed on that fast track. I hope that don't throw the timing off of our passing game. Or we have issues with traction on cuts.. If Tater is on. KM knows not what is coming.
