Something gotta give that’s for sure … Crest’s outstanding offense…. Or Kings Mt outstanding defense… we all know the old sayin Defense win championships…. But regardless I can’t wait for this one !!! One thing about this crest football is they have exciting games!!! As exciting as the offense is the defense is exciting also just not in the same way 😂 but they have just enough stops in them for the offense to pull away

It's the middle of the run defense that is exciting. It's actually not easy to pass on us. LOL.

But it s what is is... The tape is out there. I ain't lying. I'd llike it better if they slung it all over the place and tried to run with us but we ALL know what they are going to do...

It'll be the best defense we've seen all yrar so we have to score some kind of way...

Hey maybe we will blitz some this week instead of sitting back and eating it😂😂😂 I think both teams been sandbagging a little leading up this game not trying to show a lot.

If KM wants any chance of winning the game they better run 0 at least 40 times and hope they score every single possession which still may not be enough

The difference will be Tater ! They will get pressure but tater can make them pay with his legs

Early prediction Crest 35 to 21. With weather forecast of 75 it will tough for KM to slow the Chargers down enough to win the game. Should be a great one. Hope the Mounties are as healthy as the can be.

Extremely potent passing offense with no defense, vs a running team that struggles on offense with no passing game and a strong defense

yeah something has to give, it will show when KM sputtering offense vs Crest sputtering defense
 
Would like to see #15 back on offense at WR he has played in some big ballgames it’s kinda weird at this point to make him a back up DB..

I heard. I can’t swear that it’s true but I heard he mouthed off at coach and is in the proverbial doghouse.

Formula for big games has been get a stop or two and let the offense score enough. Gonna need more than those two stops against KM defense. Also gonna need special teams to be decent as far as XP and coverage.

KM defense is as advertised but so is the Crest offense. It comes down to KM pressure on Huskey. The bad thing is he is more dangerous when he is moving. He can throw darts on the run and burn you with his feet so keeping him between the tackles is KM's only chance. With that said, KM should be able to score on Crest but without the first point they will not be able to keep up. The biggest advantage KM has that other teams have not had against Crest is they can afford to drop back in coverage and have help. KM D line alone will get pressure. They are very hard to block. I still think it will not be enough though.
I think Crest wins 42-28

Yea and then KM and Crest also play so who knows how the atmosphere will be with all the people at Shelby watching.

We are missing a couple of key pieces but I still believe we have enough to win. We did get some guys back. It’s going to be a very competitive game.
 
This is great. CC football at its finest! For the marbles! For undefeated conference championship and overall #1 seed. Does it get any better? I’m taking Crest over KM 56-27. I know that seems high but I have faith in our offense. I also think our D will get at least 4 key stops. That’s all we need. #saddleup #hateus #ffn

I have no doubt it will be competitive. I have no idea what will happen.

I just think it’s going to be a fantastic experience.

We should all be happy. At least none of us had to watch Shelby and Burns play for the wish we was championship.

Strength against strength. KM brings some unique things on defense that Crest really hasn’t had to deal with or seen this year. KM’s defense is really fast across the board and the linebackers can really run and get after it. The secondary starters are really fast and athletic. The difference between this year’s defense and last year is that KM plays more gap control up front and do not play anywhere near as much zero coverage as year’s past. The linebacker play is much better. Melton, Armstrong, and Ward at lb are absolute studs. Crest’s offense will have to be more patient than it is used too. This KM defense is physical.
KM’s offense is much better than some on here give them credit for. The strength of that group is the offensive line. Those guys have worn everyone down as the game has gotten into the second half. Most people do not realize is that the offense is averaging almost 40 while also having left points on the board in a few games. KM could have absolutely tagged on a td or two in most of their games or left starters on the field in a few other games. The key for KM offensively is getting at least a couple of their starting o-linemen back. KM o-line is still a decent size unit but noticeably smaller with the fill in positions. KM is deep at running back also with each back bringing a different style. I think KM’s kicking game has a clear cut advantage as long as KM is not kicking it to Green.
Crest’s defense seemed to be playing much better as of late. The Crest defense looks really good at times and looks young at other times. The Crest db’s break really well on the ball and seem to be one of the strengths of the defense.
Crest qb is a problem. His ability to extend plays is top notch. Taking some things away that Huskey likes to do is key. This game is going to be a back and forth hay maker type of game. The team who wins the turnover battle and special teams will win this game.

I think the Shelby/Burns game is going to be a fantastic game also. Earlier in the year I was leaning Bulldogs but right now I am leaning Lions. I think the Lions are playing better overall right now but Shelby’s depth is a concern. I would love if the county games could be a doubleheader.

Did you say Shelby’s depth? Dude with our numbers you might see a water boy kicking extra points. 🤷‍♂️ I don’t know what to think and that’s why this county is the best county for football. You never know!

56 POINTS against KM DEFENSE seem a little AMBITIOUS since they have only GIVEN up 71 POINTS total in 9 GAMES.

Man this is going to be a great game. I can’t imagine who loses this game will be a 10 or 11 seed in playoffs. I would hate to be the team that had to play KM or Crest as a 10 or 11 seed. You can’t tell me that there is 10 or 11 better teams then the team that loses Friday night in the 3a West.

You don’t have four or five DBs that can cover
Tater is use to getting the ball out quick
I can’t wait , turnovers and special teams will have a big say on who wins.

I think they have 5 dbs that have either been signed or offered currently.
