A big happening at Shelby this coming season will be the opening of the state of the art Million dollar fieldhouse. A little nicer than a 16 ft cargo truck dumping out some new weights. As far as our conference this will end soon as we move to 7 divisions. This past season Shelby was put out in the second rd and it was a very disappointing season but it happens. Crest would know very well as they went out in the 2nd rd 6 years in a row while Shelby was winning 4 State Championships. This coming season Shelby's goal will be to get back to the State and Crest's goal will be to get past the third rd.

I don't know. After last year they probably kicked y'all to the curb.
I doubt that, we won’t be what we were last year. We will be good just not as good as this past year.
We still play AC and we dropped Hibriten to play 4A Olympic. I look for AC to be preseason top 3 in 3A.
How much did you donate Bob? How much of the million? Don’t you live in Boiling Springs? 😂😂
Things have changed seemingly overnight. The direction of things. No more getting out pipelined. A million dollar field house won’t do it either Bob. We’ve been the have nots. For a long time. You looked down your nose at the new weights for our boys. While we enjoy getting new stuff.
We don’t have a school on 74 that gets to host everything. Money constantly piped into it. We have to do it all on our own. We’re going to put cleats in your butts on our own too.
There is more to come too. You’ll see. You will SEE!

Man. Just a casual observer now but someone that played football back in the day when that conference was RS. East Rutherford. Chase. Shelby. Crest. Kings mtn. Burns. South point. East Gaston. North Gaston. The single beat football conference ever in the history of NC high school football. No discussion even needed. Seems like those boiling springs boys are hot. Shelby man is Shelby. Crest got the country. Shelby got the city. That whole damn county has some of the best athletes in the state. Be nice to see the bs passing all the time going away and somebody run the ball through somebody's damn face again but still. If I were crest I'd work more on developing thatiddle school and that culture. What are these problems you talk about with kings mountain.
Most of that money pumped in by a former commissioner that's now under investigation for kickbacks and underhanded dealings.

Neg..on money to fieldhouse.....not saying old. Commissioner is crooked, but he didn't give any money on fieldhouse, the State gave up a portion of money same as yall for the press boxes.
Also we were set to receive money 4 years ago for improvement to our old fieldhouse,when Lance was still here.
We didn't use it, hoping to build a new fieldhouse.
But rule is only way we could get that money was the old fieldhose had to stay, which that is why it's being built into the new.
Belive me we have struggled to get this money through donations, money use to run through Shelby by alot of old boosters but those days are gone.
We also borrowed rest of money from bank , in which we are going try, or suppose to keep developing a booster club..

Bro. He’s a good coach. But when he said that it pissed me off. Your field house is awesome I ain’t going to hate on y’all getting good stuff.
How it is in this County when it comes to stuff is a joke. Apparently Crest can’t make a move if Burns can’t make the same move and vice-versa. That’s weird. But Shelby and KM can do whatever they want.
Anyway I shouldn’t have piled on about the field house. Mainly just going on with Bob like him and I always do.
Rulz, I know what u mean, but serious km pretty much can do anything, and going on turf stuff, Lance tried getting for all 4 schools in 16 but was told no.

I can't remember the young man's name but was told his dad played at Crest.
Rulz I want to thank you for mentioning me in your opening rant. That was very thoughtful of you. It bothers me that none of you seem concerned with high school kids jumping all over the place in order to play ball. In my opinion

Furthermore, who are you to set the rules for how other people live their lives? If a kid and his family determine the best course of action for themselves and they do everything within the rules then what business is it if yours? Why should I or anyone else care how you see things?

My only child didn’t go to South Point but I would still like to see them be successful without transfers and ineligible players. Which unfortunately we have had a few and paid for it with forfeits. First of all. I didn't lose anything. I am a butthole for the most part and most people that know me know that I am a loveable butthole. I have met many SP folks in person over the years and remain friends with some of them. You don't know anything about that.

I can tell you that Burns’ schedule for 2023 will be the same except with one change…Watauga replaced with Alexander Central. We’ll be going to Taylorsville on September 8.

I think we have a QB coming in from Cali and I think they call him Sunshine or is that Remember the Titans, I'm old and confused. I do know that Crest sucks so the world is OK. Oh and this past years middle school QB for Shelby his dad played and has coached at Shelby. Sounds like you've eating your carp bait again Rulzy.
I didn't say anything about a QB bro. We don't need one. We have the best one in the County already. If I was Shelby I'd work on getting a safety and two corners. They're going to need them.

Rulz, yall played three good teams last year.. I mean really good teams, and lost to them all.... Kings Mountain, Burns and South Point twice.. And should have lost to a team that had one of the worst defenses i have seen in years in Shelby.... Yall get excited though but you better beat Shelby, and you better win it all next year.. or its back to the drawing board because there will be a lack of talent and the coach will take the blame and yall will be begging for a moving van per usual..
