SD-7 Championship Showdown... West Caldwell @ Lincolnton (Who ya wit?)

I'm sorry, we beat one team this year? Last time I checked, South Point was ranked when we won in OT there, East Lincoln was ranked when we beat them, oh and WC makes the FFN Top 10 for the first time ever... Congrats, enjoy a week in the rankings....

Talk it up woofies! I'll just let the Warrior's talk for me. I always wondered why birds flew upside down over Lincolnton. Then I figured it out, it ain't worth crapping on!

I just want to say that I'm very proud of what coach English and his staff has done at West Caldwell. They are doing great things at West and I think he is committed and will continue to build the program. So as a warrior fan I think they are headed in the right direction. As for the game tomorrow night, hope to see a good game. lets go WARRIORS

It's good to see west Caldwell doing well, I have wondered for the longest time why they struggled with the athletes they have. I remember early 2000's they were pretty good.

South point is not good at all they was ranked way to high to start the season

South Point lost to Hunter Huss which lost to East Lincoln which lost to West Caldwell . Lincolnton beats South Point by one point in OT. Lincolnton also scores with 13 seconds to go to beat East Lincoln. Bottom line, Lincolnton does dominate weak teams but is vulnerable to good teams. South Point and EL are the only competition the Wolves have faced and in both cases they were an eyelash from defeat.

I will say this about the two victories over SP and EL those are considered rivalry games for Lincolnton so you can not compare them by margin of victories, much like the loss WC took against Hibriten.

Rivalry games are games you just try to win any way, any how, no matter how the victory may look to an outsider looking in that knows nothing about the rivalries.

Here's to an injury free game, a great game by both teams, and may the best TEAM win tomorrow night.

TheDispatcher, I was glad to learn you discussed the upcoming game with a long time wolf, last night. She was a cheerleader, class of 1968, and loves the program as much as you do.She has a long stretch of hours. If you're working, give her a call, check on her. She'll be glad to talk to you about theWolves.

Heather and Chip English started out the week by celebrating the birth of their fifth child, Ty. Thankful he and mom are healthy and doing well. Hopefully they will end the week by celebrating Chip's first conference championship as a high school football coach. The Warrior fans are looking forward to a great game!

WC is the team (not Lincolnton) who got dominated by a good team in their one loss and defeated a weak team with a losing record by only an eyelash (Newton Conover). We will see who the most vulnerable team is tonight. Go Wolves.

If u say so man u have to show me yal have beat one good team this year is all I'm saying
Help me understand where its mandated that all of your opponents have to be in the top ten for an undefeated record to actually mean something...no matter if its ranked teams or not teams just don't go undefeated off nothing....we lined up across from everyone...till this point we've came out on top as y'all would say....barely....

Yes we will see. So stop bragging how darn good you guys are and let them do their talking on the field. You sound a little worried to me, and you should be!

Glad everything went well and She didn't have it on a Friday lol. From what I know about Chip he's a good family guy and good coach. Good luck to West except for 1 game a year.

It takes awhile for Simmons to show any favor to western teams.

Relax, I have West Caldwell by 12.

I was in Hickory, today, and drove up to Granite Falls to pick up a copy of the Lenoir News-Topic.
I wanted to see if there was any word on the status of quarterback Tucker. It said that his status is unknown.
Coach English talked about their backup QB Dula.He also talked about the Warriors defense.
Frankly, in an effort to read between the lines I doubt if he will play.
I'm hoping he can play, first that he is ok and secondly to see if Lincolnton can contain him enough to win, even at the risk of him being very effective against us.

We're going to know for certain in just awhile, but I have my doubts. Without him I think it will take something away from this contest.

I heard Tucker was cleared yesterday and was able to practice, and is a full go. I hope this is right and both teams are at full strength.

I talked to someone today that saw him at the JV game last night....said he was good to go from sight....out throwing and such on the sidelines...that's a good sign but not official until 7:30....safe travels to the fans players parents etc etc....on both sides....Go Wolves!!!

Should be a great game since Lincolnton "moved" all these transfers into the district. Still wondering how the kids from cherryville and north Lincoln became immediately eligible? What is the state process on kids transferring from one school district to the next ? Did the Surratts ever leave gaston county ?
I'll bite......kid from cherryville was granted eligibility from the county office cause he transferred schools in different counties(very serious personal matter...not kidding around)....north Lincoln kid wasn't and I repeat was immediately eligible...they had several weeks of things they had to complete to become eligible to play....surratts family "moved" into our district plain and simple....NOW CAN Y'ALL PLEASE GET OFF THE ISSUE ALREADY....
