It is with great sadness to announce that one of my childhood friends from Mt. Airy and great follower of Mt. Airy High School, Jack Moore Jr. known as Jmappfan5, has passed away. Jack was a class act. Never missed a Bear footfall game home or away. He joined NCPreps in 2008 and never had anything bad to say about anyone. He will be missed!

Jack is how I wish people would see Mt. Airy. He was as big a fan as anyone, but with class. Rest in peace my friend and fellow Bear. I miss you already.

Just wanted to congratulate the Lady Eagles for a good season and finishing third in the CCC. Coach Wright has done an outstanding job getting this team ready to play night in/night out. Good luck in the conference tournament/state playoffs 🏀👍!!!

Just seen on facebook post MA will be getting Turf, new press box and upgrades to Gym, baseball field with new dugouts and new fencing all the way around the school. Will cost over 3 million I believe is what I seen. Also A CTE Education building where the old Jr High was.

Lake Norman has the bye tonight, the 4/5 matchup of West Cabarrus/South Iredell is going to be competitive. South Iredell lost the most recent game to West Cabarrus by only 3. The 3/6 Cox Mill/Al Brown wont be close Cox Mill has won both meetings by 20+ too mush talent. Same can be said for the 2/7 Hickory Ridge/Mooresville wont be close Hickory won both meeting by 30+.
