And the season is near, let’s hear some predictions. I want to hear some regular season record predictions, potential losses , and how far will teams go in the postseason. Also want to hear some early picks to win it all. It doesn’t have to be just the team you’re a fan of.

This posting has nothing to do with football but....
I have decided to cut Clarence lose. Just relocate him, not process him.

You see Clarence is a mud turtle that ate all my catfish out of the pond this past winter. I did not like that so I caught him in my turtle trap. Normally I will catch 4 to 5 mud turtles, put them in tanks, feed them for 5 or 6 weeks to clean them out, then "process them", and have a big turtle fry.

This year I only caught Clarence, and he turned out to be kind of nice, eats the food, does not snap at me, behaves nicely when I change the water every 3 or 4 days. So with football season almost here, and Christmas is just around the corner, I have decided to "relocate" him rather than "digest" him.

Just thought all of you would like to know this. Enjoy the season.

What week 1 games are the most interesting

I gotta think East Surry at Robbinsville has to be high on the list. I think both have been in 3 title games in last ten years.

I am aware that they have a new HC. What do they have for the 2023 season? They didn't make the preseason top 10.

Wednesday: T.W. Andrews vs. North Davidson
High Point Christian vs. Bishop McGuinness at 6 p.m.
Thomasville vs. Northeast Guilford
High Point Central vs. Trinity at 7:30.
Field goal challenge at 7.

Friday: Southwest Guilford vs. Ledford and
T.W. Andrews vs. Wheatmore at 6 p.m.
Oak Grove vs. Glenn
HPCA vs. Randleman vs. East Davidson
High Point Central vs. Thomasville at 8:20.

Any thoughts for this conference. Last year this conference seem to be weak as a whole. Hopefully some teams will make a rebound.

They were preseason rank 10th. Will they have what takes to compete for a 1A State Title? I have never been to the School, but i have circled the game vs Draughn Sept 29th. If my schedule works out.

Can anyone say heatwave. Next 10 days showing scorching hot weather. With football practice starting next Monday it’s going to be tough. Next thing you know we will bundling up for football games.

What schools have went to artificial turf on their football stadiums the last five or so seasons. Any in your area or that you know of would be appreciated.

They are putting the finishing touches on the field. Doing the yardage markers now, which are cutouts inserted. Will have to do the logo at center field and the Rams in the end zone.

The field turf is green, of course, and is surrounded by about a three foot gold outline. The team and coaches boxes are gold. The end zones are blue.
