Pisgah @ tuscola (3rd year @ tuscola in a row)

Definitely win the game!

Unless you were able to invest the 50/50 into something that made millions of course.

Two days remaining and this page is pretty quiet unfortunately.

Everyone healthy on the Pisgah side? I think everyone this end is pretty well.

No. Really bad case of the flu in a couple. Kinda early for that but it is what it is

Or as coach pulled points off the board
With a whole slew of hate signs behind him and he gets stuffed as they call my winning number… LOL

For all you Haywood Co fans I have a question…..

Had you rather beat your rival in a running clock game or win the 50/50?
Running clock all year every year. They can have the half and half, they’ll go through the money but that L stings especially to those Tuscola die hards. Which there are fewer and fewer of every year. When I was in school I felt that way. Then I went through a period where honestly Tuscola and its fans didn’t bother me. After the flood and some of the things I’ve heard said by some people associated with Tuscola. If we beat ‘em by 60 it wouldn’t be enough for me. It would be different if it were the players/kids they know no better. But, these have been grown adults. Of course 60 percent of Waynesville isn’t from Waynesville anymore.

On a side note- could you imagine if Pisgah was trying to sell reserve seating to Tuscola fans? Lol I know people on the east end of the county who would buy them and leave em empty before that happened. I truly feel bad for some of the old guard Tuscola fans on this site. The culture has just changed on the other side of the county. They may deny it but deep down they know.

It is called evolution and you can't stop it. Especially when your elected leaders sell your community's out. I don’t disagree with anything you posted and it is all 100% correct. But Canton is getting ready to go through a more major shift than Waynesville ever will. People from California are already buying houses there and your downtown is getting ready to go through a major development. Your biggest problem is your Socialist Mayor who wants to turn you into West Asheville. Can you imagine being so out of touch with your own constituents that you bring Roy Cooper in for the first game? What a slap in the face to all The Mill workers who lost their jobs. The same Roy Cooper, who was one of the Governor sponsors of the Green New Deal, which had a massive effect with The Mill getting the axe to begin with. This so called culture you are talking about is going to hit the whole County. Buncombe and Henderson County are full of Yankee’s and Californians, you are next. Your whole post is what you will be in 5 years or less. Canton will be totally unaffordable to live in due to its proximity to Asheville. Much like the Jonathan Creek Area, wait until they start putting subdivisions and apartment complexes in Bethel. Your problems on your end of the County will be much worse than Waynesville's.

Green New Deal, did that thing ever pass the House, I believe the last I heard it was killed off??? Seems like we've heard that term for 10+ years now but nothing came of it????

Yes, the migration of all points in the US to WNC and Haywood County will continue coming but the one saving grace for Bethel from J-creek is the water/ sewer situations are quite different. J-creek is much more favorable in that respect for large scale development. Even though, I personally, hate to see out J-creek, as well but hopefully, it stays that way and doesn't get too that level in Bethel.

I've had the conversation with several old Waynesville faithful that now reside with their kids on the East side of the county because , for now, it feels more like what they grew up with than the current Waynesville does.

Times, they are a changin'.

I bet you was really upset when Mark Meadows flipped the coin several years ago. You know the Florida transplant that is now under indictment.

You’re right it will eventually change, I’ve got no argument there. The effect of the mill shutting down will take several years for full effect to set in. I don’t think it will change as fast as you do because our recent flood changed/expanded the flood plain and that’s a headache for some developers. But eventually it will happen. Everything changes at some point besides the joy of watching Pisgah beat the little t. That will ageless feeling will never end.

It’s changing alright. But don’t think that flood plain stuff will hold up. You know what’s more powerful ? Money… Uncle joe gotta house all those invaders. At all of our expense. Carry on

I know you Pisgah faithful ars proud but really do yall want a running clock?! Cmon! The over time thrillers are way better win or lose than one team winning by 40.

Oh those idiots are still stuck in 2006 . But have amnesia when it comes to 2009. Only reason the score wasn’t a 100 was because DK had class.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!! At the request of the Pisgah principal, the game tomorrow night is now being played at the soccer field beside Hazelwood Elementary. He put much thought into this and stated "it is for the kids" LOL.

LAME!! But you all are the kings of that

And the only reason it wasn’t higher is our coach had mercy on your inbred souls. And that’s a fact

I’d like a good clean ballgame that ends in a Bears’ win but beating y’all by 40+ and you never getting a first down or crossing the 50yd line definitely wouldn’t hurt my feelings. 😜

You might wanna go back and rewatch that tape. Ya'll were throwing it all over the place trying to score. Ya'll just couldn't get it done

I was there you delusional idiot. It was an act of mercy and you know it.

Well tonight seemed to be unfortunate tonight for the mounties...

The big game has got here quick on us! One more sleep until those Pisgah faithful make ANOTHER wonderful trip to beautiful CE Weatherby. Looking for the same outcome as last year!

So was I. Did I stike a nerve? You keep calling me names. Do you need a safe space and a blanket? I mean you brought the scores up.
#saltbae
Nope . No nerve struck at all. You don’t have what it takes for that. #bigbearsuxattrolling

Here’s the 2009 game. Think you need to watch the 4th quarter. And the final was 41-10, not 48-10.

This from the same guy that every time we mentioned the nine game winning streak or the three state championships he would say that was all in the past.

Does that mean we can say the jv game is in the past now?! Asking for a friend.

I'm ready for this game to get started! 365 days worth of bragging rights on the line we are gonna get yet again!

Sure you can since the Pisgah Jv's win every year. The Bear winning streak starts tonight and Tuscola one game streak ends.

I got that little gem from you guys. I can’t take all the credit

Looks like the weather is going to be perfect tonight for the wishbone!! Let's go big T!!!!!!

Wow only two pages about this game on game day this year. I think we all know why, the little t faithful have tried but not much to crow about this year. I think tonight’s game will end up being very similar to the jv game tonight honestly. Tuscola just can’t get enough stops they will get in the end zone a few times but not near enough in my opinion.

That video just made a liar out of you ,not only on the score but the mercy point. Tonight they will be no mercy from the Bears. Then you can bitch about it for the next year.
