Maiden at Reidsville

Didn’t run away from Bridges, bro. Bridges doesn’t play in the secondary, but both are absolute burners, no doubt. Flip did torch our starting corner, though. Please don’t mention Shelby anymore this season, though. I can barely post in here now. They think since we are out of the playoffs that includes ncpreps, too. Had one tell me that I gotta check in first before posting.
Ah, must have saw the wrong number. Could have sworn it was bridges. But oh well.

I've seen Culliver several times now. If Sunshine throws a jump ball, it won't matter who is close by. Mount P finally slowed him a little late, by tackling him during the throw. 15 yards vs. 75 yards .

If Sunshine throws a dime, it won't matter, except for yac

Pressure on the QB will be very handy for the Rams

All this talk about 40, 100, 200 and 400 times.........lol. Hand times in anything should be taken with a grain of salt. Anyone that has seen either of these kids play know they are both fast. What surrounds them will make the difference. When it is all said and done the "team" that makes the fewest mistakes and blocks and tackles best will win.

I know this. Reidsville will be physical. If Maiden ain't ready to get hit in the mouth repeatedly and give it back, this one will turn out like a lot of others. Rams will win. It won't be as close as those thinking Maiden has a chance expect it to and it won't be the surgically executed blowout Reidsville backers ALWAYS want. The end result though will be what it has been many times. Rams advancing.

Maiden will be very physical, tit for tat for 4 quarters...no wondering about that

I remember this arrogance last year before Shelby thumped that ass!
Shelby was supposed to thump us last year. Real Reidsville fans knew Malaki and that D was too fast to get our guys down field. Honestly Shelby kept us in the game first half. Al Lee had never lost a game if I'm not mistaken and none were close. We didn't get to play Eastern Alamance and it hurt us. Queshyne Flippen did make the best catch and score in the game though. Other than that it was all Shelby. But don't act like it was a Rout. We just weren't ready for that Shelby team. And TBH Cardinal Gibbons wasn't either if you ask me. They beat the 2nd best 3A squad easy as well. We almost knocked Daylin out the game though. How he passed the concussion protocol is beyond me. He's never been hit that hard. He didn't know where he was. But he came back in and lit it up . But If you think you're going to air it out on our secondary you gotta long night of pick 6 city!!! We will get 3 PICKS minimum if They throw it like I've heard they are going to. Throw it near Dionte Neal if you want to. Mansfield Flippen and etc. Y'all better run that ball. All that BIG O LINE TALK BY CHASE FANS. WE PUT UP 30 AND GOOSEGGED A TEAM THAT AVERAGED 50. IM EXCITED ABOUT THIS ONE. BUT LOOKS TO ME MY RAMS ARE ADDING TO THAT STATE TITLE RECORD!!! AND WE'LL HAVE ANOTHER 3 PEAT IF WE DO. RAMMMMM PRIIIIDE

Blah blah blah, Shelby was in our bracket in the Covid year just two years ago. So take away everyone’s state titles away and complain about them too. This is ridiculous that we are the only team people complain about winning the big a and small a. No one was beating Shelby last season in 2a or 3a besides Dudley.
Exactly!!! Shelby has had our number. But When we have met besides the first 2 games in the 2000s Shelby has had the better and slightly older teams. The whooping they gave us in 14 I believe and the 15 dog fight until we couldn't handle no more. And last year. But all this big A and little A...We beat quality teams in Northeastern and MT. Heritage in 2019. BUT COVID WAS OUR YEAR TO BEAT SHELBY BUT HENDERSONVILLE TOOK CARE OF THAT. MT Heritage caught that Ass whooping. Just like Northeastern did. Both of them 3 in a row. Wallace Rose Hill got away with one in 17. Late hit on their QB turned what would have been 4thand goal from the 12 I believe and a 5 peat to a fumble in the end zone to end our season. That game was ours and we gave that away. But hey we was there 5 straight. Don't think for a second we wouldn't have been there at least 3 in 2AA. especially 18 19 20. And 16 and 17 we could have too. Reidsville by plenty Friday!!! If they try and force the ball to Culliver it's going to be crickets. I see the Maiden Faithful packing it up at the half. We not losing in the VILLE this year!

I get your confidence, and it is warranted, but you haven't seen a passing offense like ours all year. Hell, probably in several years. Have yall even faced a QB that's passed over 2000?

We just played Shelby and Hendersonville just last season. This season the best passing attack would be Eastern Alamance. But not close to what you guys are passing wise.

I wonder if Teague will employ a strategy similar to what he did in 2016 with Lincolnton? The Rams doubled both Surratt and Givens. Begging the Wolves to run the ball and Lincolnton couldn't generate any offense. It was still a close game until the final two minutes. I see this Maiden as comparable to the 2016 Lincolnton team, but with a better D. That Lincolnton team was not as balanced as the Shelby teams from an offensive and defensive stand point of the past few years.

That Lincolnton 2016 team focused too much on throwing the ball 40 yards downfield. I think Maiden will be more content with the underneath stuff and they spread it out a little more. Misher, Hall and Sigmon are all very good receivers. And Gibbs can catch it out of the backfield. In 2016, it was about 25 at kickoff and our QB had a very off night. But the Reidsville defense was also extremely good. We had a 2,000 yard back that year and didn’t use him enough that night.

I remember the fields conditions and always felt optimal conditions could have been a different outcome. We will never know. That is football in December.

Gonna be tough for Maiden to win At Reidsville. Best chance is no turnovers. Receivers have to secure the ball before running, QB can't drop it, or hold it too long. Might run a few times. Rams have a pretty good defense this time around for a clumsy titan. Mainden can't stumble around like they have been all season, credit to the solid play in the Bunker HIll game.
For nitpicking my buddy, Mule, earlier. I wasn’t gonna rest till I found this again. I let you slide on it, initially, till I saw you back at it again.

Not gonna lie....this made me laugh out loud.

Lincolnton folks said the same thing in 2016. You see how that went. Shut them down so bad kids transferred out and technically they’ve never been the same after that.

What a stupid comment. No one left Lincolnton because of losing to Reidsville. Most of those same kids came to Reidsville and beat you 36-6 the previous year.

I understand...but like LTown mentioned above, we're going to use the whole field. You won't be able to double team 4 receivers...I find it hard to believe that we'll stop each other that often....I see a higher scoring affair.

I don't think he's a Reidsville fan. Rams were very down in 2015 somewhat due to injures and we lost a lot during the 2014 team.

Agreed! I assumed he was talking about Cordell Littlejohn. Cordell has relatives in Georgia who are originally from Shelby. He transferred to a high school there for his senior year. Had all to do with getting more exposure, and playing with other family members.

I don't know where unc91 is lol. I think armchair is from Danville, Va though. He can correct me if I'm wrong. A lot of their guys follow us some
Yeah, I thought about UNC91 recently. Some of his posts were cringeworthy, bro had no filter. But, I grew to like him as a poster, because he was such a straight shooter. I’m thinking bro must be banned. No way he’s quiet for this long.. If nothing else, he would be more active seeing his rival daagoob being more active in the forum recently.

Yep, Cordell and his brother did leave for Georgia after that season. But I don’t think it had anything to do with Reidsville shutting them down lol.

He is 100% the best WR the Rams will have seen since Sage Surratt.

Speaking of Sage, anyone know what he is up to? Lost track once he left Wake
He was with the Detroit Lions as a FA signee, but got hurt, then cut. Then, I think read where he had gotten on with one of those start up pro leagues that quickly folded.
