That's correct. JV had three starters out last night but the biggest reason they lost is the uninspired play. They look like a bunch of kids that won the conference last week and had nothing to play for this week. Coaches were doing hell of a job out there trying to fire them up.

Tip of the cap to the Maiden Girls volleyball team for another conference championship and making it to the 3rd round of the playoffs. Brevard put our ladies out last night…they must be really good.

At Foard Coach had that program going the right way but the administration did not like football getting better and his Christian values so Coach resigned on his own and the program went back to losing!! since he and a couple of coaches left with him I think Foard might have won two games in three years! Say what you want about Coach Minor he has turn losing programs in to winners the Covid season EB went 4 and 3 but since then they have jump in to a tough conference they had to regroup still light years away from what this group had 3 years ago!! Hang on we will get better!!Monday morning QB go pull for someone eles!! He had a 2000 yard passer at Princeton and a 1000 yard passer at Foard so this offense can win and get better they put up 60 points on Bunker Hill one year same offense with a good QB!! Coach turn down two top programs to take this job at EB which had not won over 1 to two games in years and opponents were putting up 50 points a game on them so don’t tell me this program has not improved!!We will get better.Rant over nothing more to talk about on this EB subject!!

Great job Maiden we at EB lost a couple of last play games but over all best JV squad in years!! 6 and 4 overall Even having to move up 5 players to varsity the last 4 games!!

I wouldn’t consider that a accomplishment putting up 60 on Bunker Hill when that team was absolutely terrible
We know BH has rose up from the Ashes. Heck of a year for you guys. I wouldn’t mind them or any CVAC team going deep. Gotta represent
EB will return Rees the speedy guy. Does he play basketball/Wrestle or will he do indoor track?
Some linemen and good tacklers should be coming back with good JV fill in’s. That bout right?
And Vue oughta be improved and ready under center. If it’s the kinda set up I’m thinking bout they should win 4 to 5 games and then year after next oughta be really interesting. If they ain’t out getting hurt. Something that happens and coach can’t help injuries.
Super early just for the heck of it outlook- whoops Patton, down to wire win with Freedom, stomps Draughn, loses to Maiden by 2 scores, loses to Bandys by 1 score in super thriller, gets by Lincolnton by 6, loses to Newton by 1 score, WL will overcome them in 4th and loses 2 scores, BH a thriller but Willis scores with 2 min left, and then your usual WC yawner win. Now this is all injury free and defense holds up. These group of boys regroup and come out swinging in 25’

I was informed that my Wolves lost in another overtime thriller last night. One has to hope some luck bounces our way tonight. Go Wolves!

28-26 in overtime. The last varsity and the last two JV games ended with OT losses. It's like we're caught in a time warp.

UH, one other thing. Didn't realize you had a connection to North Lincoln, so I'd just like to tell you that the things I said about North Lincoln such as it being NORTH LINCOLNTON, sell-out university, The Foie Gras Nation, the unkind remarks about the school district being from Lincolnton city limits to Sail View at Lake Norman (City limits to Sail View, which is correct) actually, AlwaysAWolf, came up with that one, but I gave him a thumbs up; then all the quips about food made with pumpkins (North Lincoln being in the Pumpkin Center Community) especially the pumpkin spice latte thing, I wanted you to know that I was just joking, well, most of it anyway.
Honestly, I like the CVAC posters and I try hard not to make them mad, so with that I hope you can see fit to give me a pass.
They’ve had there ups and downs that’s for sure. A few D1 players here and there, 1 playing for VA and 2 other ones for NC State currently speaking.
I keep hearing bout this RB Wingate. I know he’s a soph and really getting at it, how is he in the games that’s you’ve seen?
Wingates dad is a maiden alumni a year or 2 younger than me
Talking about a display of bravado, AMD was walking around behind our endzone for the entire game, and fans aren't allowed there. Wonder if Newton-Conover will let him do that.

Something I tend to do, most of the time the RBs run track so I look at their 100M time on Milesplit,com. He had a 12.2 100M as a freshman just this past spring. Not blazing fast but a good start at his age. Sounds like he’s got it together for the most part and will get faster as he goes

It’s been a strange sort of game, BFR, they’re really hitting us hard. They scored on the first play from scrimmage, about 60 yards and the scored again on a field goal with 8 seconds left in the half. They get the ball to begin the second half. Heard your Cavs are beating WC badly.
Games can be strange but good to see your boys holding on. I was gonna go to NL tonight cause it’s one of the most unpredictable games of the area and not high scoring but caught up in home improvements late starts and getting wife some take out.
I wasn’t about to go watch EB play a game that don’t mean anything lol. They’re winning the CVAC toliet bowl in good fashion
