Haven’t heard anything, yet, AMD. Our people at the high school usually don't say much about personnel changes. So far, I haven't seen anything online or heard much talk around town.
Have to say, though, our posters who have mentioned it on here are people who would likely know about these things.
I was thinking of ways to help y'all out. If y'all just send y'all's players on to Maiden to play football, y'all wouldn't have to hire a coach. And in return we would save the taxpayers in the school quite a bit of money. 👍

Listen, you. This isn't a place or people that gives up. We're nice people but we're pretty tough, too. We'll put things together one of these days and that's when we'll send you some players. Granted, it's been awhile but you've seen our good side.
Somebody left a post recently which said "Maiden was Catawba county's least favorite", you ought to be us for a season. We've dealt with problems and issues throughout our history years before many of these other places even thought of having to do the same thing. If our teams weren't called the wolves they ought to be called the survivors. You wretched, car crashing devil.
Everyone hates the king ( of the valley) 🤣. But a civic minded person as me, is always looking to help my fellow citizens out.

Just remind me of it. One thing, if I get there and you and some of them force me to drive one of the crashing cars and word gets back to my relatives, they'll file for guardianship and put me in the rest home.😀
If I were a betting man I would throw a $2 bill on our defensive coordinator to be the next head coach. I was told within 48 hours of news getting out there were over 100 applicants.
Two running teams win state title New Bern 4A and East Duplin 2A state champions. Who said you have to have the pass!! I know it helps buts you never know.
Completely agree. Considering the way Reidsville completely destroyed Maiden, it was obvious to me no one was going to beat them playing their game. You had to do your best to neutralize their speed and athleticism and avoid their strengths, and the best way to do that was an effective clock burning ground game. And that's exactly who East Duplin was. They were West Lincoln on steroids. Congratulations on the championship, and on the far from outdated system that you ran to perfection.
That being said, there can be little doubt that Reidsville will be the team to beat next year, and probably beyond. You can also count on Shelby being back in the hunt next season. One thing is certain. IF Reidsville and/or Shelby lose in the 2A playoffs next season, it probably won't be to a team trying to beat them at their own game.
Just now heard about Coach Byrd….a new thread wasn’t started til last night so I didn’t pick up on it til just now…I hate that for Lincolnton. You guys need stability.

Yep there was a big stink back in the spring about it and at their senior night a least 8 players were 1 year Maiden players. Nope they don't recruit.

I went 16 pages back and reread the “6 Classifications” thread. I really believe if the 7 classifications were to be approved(I’d be shocked if it happens though)….we would all stay together anyway.
The only one I worry about is Lincolnton…they’re the only one below 800 at 788.
I figure Maiden would be right smack in the middle of 3a….and 3a would be something like 800 to 899.

Works been an F7 Tornado since Thanksgiving and being at home is a beautiful F5. Wouldn't want to be any less busy though!!!

The new ADM’s that I see on the 3a boards actually have West Lincoln as the smallest in our conference at 753.

About 15 years ago I saw a news report that if your first mail order bride didn't work out then your second one was free.
There once was a family in Lincolnton that could fill unusual orders as long as there was a market for it. Don’t know about the brides though.
I hear Ukrainian brides are on discount right now. Some are desperate enough now to marry a Lincolnton wolf 🤣🤣
