Exactly. We know our weakness and by now burns does too. But they have to execute as do we.
If Reidsville beats us, I'll be the first one here after the game congratulating you guys and wishing you well in the title game. But Burns is a different team than Reidsville has seen, this won't be Chase or even Maiden coming to Community Stadium.
Burns fans have been humble all season even with being given the #1 ranking early. I will give them that. We all have seen quite a few Reidsville fans being that way as well but some of these posters need to delete their profile on here if Burns can come away with a victory. Nobody is going to let up. This will be the game to see in N.C.
Side note to this game, KTC Broadcasting WILL HAVE live video coverage of this game Friday night. The NCHSAA playoff fee was paid.

Nobody has said anything close to that. Burns has a very good team. Ain't no doubt. I will tell you why it is dang near impossible to discuss these games on any kind of analytical level. You can't do much more than stick a psychological thorn in somebody.
You don't have hardly any core to make any prediction on. Look at what we have between Burns and Reidsville to try to make any thing more than what is a worthless hunch about the upcoming game. Lets try common opponents. Big bad Morehead. Reidsville played them the last game of the regular season. Beat them 63-0. Reidsville scored 30 first quarter 51 at the half. Burns played them the very next week 1st round playoff game. Beat them 62-13. Burns scored 30 first quarter, 56 first half. Nothing to learn there. Little Sisters of the Poor could beat them. You can't really learn much from the first few games of the year which are typically non conference. None of those teams had really jelled yet. Then you get to looking at conference games. Looking at it across the state, most conferences only have a couple of good teams. The remaining teams are usually not any contest. They give Reidsville's or Burns second team a bit of a game. Nothing to learn there. About all we have left are the playoffs. Burns had a 4-7 Morehead walkover and Reidsville had a 3-8 Madison squad that brought about 26 players (no exaggeration). So all we have now is 6 previous playoff games, with able opponents, to look at. Providence Grove, Chase, Maiden for Reidsville. Shelby, Salisbury, Monroe for Burns. We had a up and comer, a runner and a passer.,, Burns had a team they played 2 games previous and widened the margin, a game with a scrappy team that rose to the occasion and then a formidable opponent who was close to an equal. If all the competition on we faced on our schedules was equal to those opponents you could draw conclusions. You cannot look at last year or last decade. We don't have a crystal ball, mostly just what we have observed in own teams.
I stir the pot sometimes because it appears these threads looks like they may evolve to "how do you set the points on a 8n ford". Boring.
I hope the playoffs don't get canceled because of you. I so can't wait for Reidsville to win it all, and send Burns
packing in the process, because I FEEL Reidsville is a lot better.
They might not be able to outman the Steelers, but JIMMY Teague can certainly outcoach Tomlin.

I just get tired of hearing the same crap. We haven't seen anything like them. Their freshman Neal has 46 interceptions. Flippen is the greatest since sliced bread, their defense is only behind the steel curtain for best all time....It's so annoying. I'm just ready to be done with this week. Win or lose so I don't have to deal with them anymore.
Actually it’s the other way around. Everyone been saying we haven’t seen anyone like burns or played anyone all year. Each week in playoffs people make the case we haven’t seen a running attack or passing attack like we are about to see. I do believe Burns will be best opponent yet but still a lot of crap has came our way from other teams. But that’s what you get when your in the final 4 . Comes with the territory. I’m not going to sit here and bash a team that I’m uncertain of

A couple of weeks ago during an officials time out where they all gather in a huddle, to try figure out some rule or another, I happened to think of the Monte Python and the Holy Grail scene where they summon the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch. I've kept quiet until now....that's what old folks like me do....the key to a Reidsville win is the play of the offensive line.....like SL says if Burns gets to our QB too quick.....well it could be ugly........I don't brag or talk junk like some do....but I expect a tight game...anytime you got Jimmy Teague coaching your team you have a chance........still think next year the Rams will be even more of a handful for teams....lots of youth wearing the Navy Blue and Gold........................................

Lee is tough it will take more than a few hits. Shelby had a unreal defense last season. Good pressure on Lee certainly does help. But Lee will get sacked a few times at least, but that doesn't mean rams lose.

Naturally, I would have pulled for county mate Burns over a great Reidsville program, but a few of the Ram guys were just over the top this post season, especially Hoeyman and his obsession with Shelby. Trying to downplay our program’s success. Thought he was slick always talking East Surry’s success and ADMs in comparison to Shelby’s. What he was really doing was, using. East Surry to point out why Shelby should be beating Reidsville, because of the ADMs. East Surry was really Reidsville in all that bs he was talking. Seeing Shelby’s issues, and eventual elimination, emboldened a few of you guys, too, and you became King King in the forums.
With the majority of the forum always thinking Reidsville or Shelby in the states anyway, once Shelby was officially “dead”, a few of you guys showed no respect for the other teams. You guys will learn the Monroes, Burns, and the Salisburys to name a few, soon enough. Programs you never played in the subdivision, and yes, vice versa, they will learn firsthand the greatness of the Reidsville program.
Yes, these posters obviously exist in every program. Then again, I was so taken back how respectful WRH was last season, to the point I didn’t even know how to smack talk and engage with them. Maybe, it was because it was their first time playing the Lions. Who knows?
Chopper will tell you, I even joined their immaculate sweater club. I graduated from the Fruit of the Loom and Old Navy that Chopper wears, and a brand literally called “Sweater” that man wears.
