Analysis: This game will come down to what evenly contested games usually do, turnovers and execution. This is NE best overall team since their 2010 State Championship appearance. They have 4A size, speed and depth--sometimes lightning strikes a small school. With 6 potential Div 1 athletes they have just overwhelmed most of their opponents this year. WR Hill are the 3 time defending State Champs in 1AA and will have a slight edge with big game experience.

Keys to the Game:
WR Hill will have to throw the ball a little to keep NE from loading the box like they did Clinton.
NE will have to be patient with deep balls because WR Hill loves to stay in cover 2.

When clinton played WRH they had a ton of center/QB exchange problems. I don’t remember them losing many of them but it put them behind the chains a lot which helped us out a lot. I’m sure WRH has fixed those, was trying to add to the thread.

This game is gonna have 2 really good RB’s. I’ve seen both and give freshwater the edge but Williams for WRH is dang good too.

I like the cover 2. It is especially good against a team that likes to throw long. Most teams in our area never play cover 2. I think its all about coaching.

Im glad u think we love to play cover two which i know the d they play often its not c2 at all .neither is it base.. Load the box against wrh will be a diaster NE runs 5-2 upfront 5 to 6 upfront which give free safety the ability to roam but its effective against the wing t but its 6 plays u can run that will cause a coach to come out of it .. The best dfense to run against it i know what it is..but looking for a game that epic and good ..kirk herbstreit got stats and all...good job...
