From my understanding he lives around main Street near the high school
To my understanding he closer to Maiden side of town but went to Maiden instead of N-C from what I been told by someone who grew up with him n trained with him n that kid could went to Maiden but picked N-C
I do my research lol Esp since I never follow this county and area throughly but I keep with up with it to a degree but since I’m living here might well learn
Two different websites I'm going to shows that Maiden School district actually can go across Conover boulevard at fairgrove Church road to I-40
One I seen Bandy is pretty far in to Newton area tbh I’m on boarder line where I live or close by
N-C is primarily Conover n most of Newton - Some souther part south of park in Newton goes to Maiden
Maiden has own but on this map showed Norther part which still south of Newton a Dead zone but it’s prob is Maiden/Bandys prolly
But again idk how accurate and how update it is
I point and checked Zillow also the houses are across from hickory motor speedway are maiden School district
I highly doubt that bc that’s a long drive n I would Assume that St Stephen area but I don’t trust Zillow for school zones lol
Newton line ends at east first street and mt olive church Rd. And then becomes Bandy's high school.

Athlete drought is coming and I hope Minor don’t see that and jump ship. It’s happened before to a school here and there. So I hope these boys play their hearts out and give it all. 23’ expect a good one. 24’ a few good ones left, should win 3 or 4 games. 25’ ehhhh whew be lucky to get to red zone against Patton and West Caldwell at that point…IF boys don’t get it together, hit the weight room and track and take it serious.

I don't think minor is a runner. He will have the kids prepared and disciplined. Y'all may not be world beaters but he will probably keep y'all competitive. When it comes to high school discipline and preparation can go a long way towards winning.
Talking to Coach Minor the other day he is happy at East Burke he turn down some big school to go to EB his said he is happy here! Coach has a you tube video of his Flatgap farm project so funny to see that funny side of him!
I think the only way Minor leave EB is if he told to leave and let’s be honest if all that political stuff didn’t happen at Foard , I bet you he would still be at Foard but I think he will be at EB as long as he has support of admin n community once he loses that then it’s time to leave.

Culture domt fade. I remember YEARS ago… Hickory high went on this massive run were they just destroyed teams and won the state no problem. The news had coach Elder on tv, Elder said, these boys, this school, may not come this way ever again…buddy he was right. After that class left it ain’t been close. Could be the case with this clsss at EB now. We’ll see. Glad Minor is staying and sticks out the battle if you say he will I believe ya.
Talent RB that was a freshman last will be tough. This rising class from middle school will hurt except for the QB coming up he is fast but at least a year away before he is on varsity. At least two solid years of FB coming up!! These kids are getting faster and stronger.
From what I have seen EB program has came back from the dead under Coach Minor. yes you here rumbling about the passing game but this team is getting better from not being in the game to one or two plays from 5 to 6 wins last year in a tough conference.
EB has 14 losing season since 2007 - and 5/6 winning season (if u wanna count 2020 season it would be 6) - EB best coach is obviously Biggerstaff.
Minor is 3-7 , 3-6 , 4-3 respectivly but previously to Minor , EB went 2-9 ; 1-10; 2-9 ; 2-9 2015 is their most recent winning record with 8-6 (5-3) with Late great Tom Brown.
I think this upcoming year should and could be Minor best chance to finish high in conference this yr , after this yr , Idk what all EB has and In and out of the program as others do, Minor will always keep EB competitive and will always give EB a Chance to WIN.

I just learn things there the years, I read what said on here (if its reliable stuff) i look up stuff esp on maxpreps and other websites if there is any others and I just go by what I see, hear, and know. Also I know Coach Minor well so I respect him n He a good one so
I dont know everything because there are tons of schools I have 0 knowledge about other then the obvious and what I hear and see so
The motion to move the seven classes passed today. Now it's just up to legislators not to stop it
For what I've seen and read.. it was nice knowing you east Burke. I believe y'all will be in the new 4a. But you will get to take Newton and West Caldwell with you
