2024 Reidsville Rams

Does the incoming freshman RB play LB? I'm sure he has the build to play the position. I agree we will have some big holes to fill without Widerman and Mansfield manning the middle.

I am ok with the JV QB playing QB, I just haven't seen him. I know J9 and Neal are hard talents to replicate from an athleticism standpoint. A veteran OL also helps immensely.
Did the incoming freshman play at Reidsville middle? Or he transfer in?

If Sharpe (J9) plays QB that means you lose him at safety where he was all area. Losing him there, along with 2 ILBs would be big. Talent is there to replace, but you couldnt replicate what you are losing.
I have no idea who the QB will be but if I am the coach I want the ball in Dionte Neal's hands as much as possible. He has uncanny decision making ability whether on the gridiron or the basketball court.

The rumor mill is churning some. Heard about a McMichael offensive lineman transfer who could compete for the last starting spot (we return 4 of 5 i believe).

Also heard Neal is trying to recruit the Grimsley QB to Reidsville. All is water cooler banter and should be taken w a grain of salt. Who knows? Thoughts? Rumblings?

Grimsley QB not coming. That said, the Neals are great recruiters.

Reidsville and the west probably win again this season if yall stay healthy. #0 is a cheat code and down east we too busy obsessing over what school adults choose to send their kids to.

Heard a big time forward from Orange County is transferring in for bball. Wonder if he can play WR or DE? Who wouldn't want to play in front of all the scouts at Reidsville these days.

Heard this about a month ago. He plays SF and is the #2 basketball recruit in NC for 2026 behind Kendre Harrison. Does not play football, that could always change though.

Orange county is a hike from Reidsville...wonder if this is just wishful thinking on the part of some.......if the kid you are thinking of is who I think you mean....he's a player....saw him in the John Wall tourney vs. Northwood.......................

A move to your district is the only way to make him legal at Reidsville , right.

Im not sure, I think there is a way around that. I do know that few years back there was a kid that played that lived in Caswell County.
You can live in southern caswell county and attend Williamsburg Elementary which feeds to Reidsville High School. The various school systems release students to other counties where it is most feasible for the bus routes.

I know a guy…,.

I have a friend from high school that has a great shooting guard in his family. I keep telling him to “let him go live with his cousin” next year.

I just reviewed the list. Sure enough, the Rams are at 17 and my NHHS Cats are just behind them at 21.

Is it like that on other areas with a 1 Public High School county? Richmond and Person come to mind.

You had to know it would become accepted in high school, NIL in my opinion has ruined college athletics and now transferring schools just for notoriety and being associated with the bigger names is just ok. It's a sad state of affairs. If you are good enough at your sport, it don't matter where you play, they will find you. Loyalty is out of the window and all that is promoted is personal gain.
