I am hearing all assistant coaching supplements have been completely reduced to nothing, and Football gate money that supports all non-revenue sports must be redirected. I am also hearing that some assistant coaches that work in the system could lose employment? Any truth to that? Some non-revenue sports that are enjoyed by many students will be discontinued ( tennis, golf, cross-country, etc.). What are you hearing on both ends of the county? I am very concerned!

We lost 2 of our kids in a wreck yesterday on their way to Greenville to work out. Charles CJ Elliott and Isaiah Yates. Both had just signed papers to pay football in college last week. Our players, students, teaching staff, and our Coaching staff need prayer in this difficult time. These were 2 really good kids that never gave you a moments trouble. They will never be forgotten.

Congrats to WRH and Plymouth......as for next year the Bears return almost everyone on both sides......won 8 games with a load of Jrs and Sophs....will return one of the better kickers in the state.....East Surry lost 19 seniors so some adjustment there along with Walkertown who lost 15 seniors....thoughts from others??

Or is it simply just for bragging rights? i know it is for tie breakers, but if there isnt any ties to break, could a team that didnt finish 1st 2nd or 3rd in regular season get a 1,2, or 3 seed by winning the conference tournament? could 4th place alleghany move up by winning the mvac tournament or r they a wild card no matter what?
