All-American Showcases

Only 3 percent of High School basketball players get scholarships. What are you doing to give yourself an advantage? Attending an All-American Showcase will give you the platform to show coaches what you have. College coaches work and attend our Showcases. Are you ready to show coaches across the country how good you are? One day can change your life!

Players attending an All-American Showcase will play 3 games each, participate in a skill-session, and will be attend a recruiting seminar given by former or current college coaches.

College coaches from across the nation will be invited to attend all All-American Showcases.

All games are filmed and players will have the option of receiving either game film or a personal mixtape.

Every player will receive an All-American Showcase T-Shirt as well as a written evaluation. These evaluations are also sent to every single college basketball coach in the entire country.

The top 50 performers selected by our college coaches on staff will be invited to attend our exclusive All-American Top 50 Combine in July of 2017.

Showcases are for males ages 13-18. If you are older than 18 please email our office at office@aashowcase.org

Yadkin Valley 1A Conference Predictions, Week #4

East Montgomery @ Albemarle, East Montgomery 56-6
North Moore @ South Stanly, North Moore 24-12
West Montgomery @ Chatham Central, West Montgomery 70-7
North Stanly @ West Stanly, West Stanly 21-20
South Davidson @ Union Academy, Union Academy 28-14

East Montgomery annihilates Albemarle. North Moore defeats South Stanly. West Montgomery whips Chatham Central. West Stanly defeats North Stanly, Union Academy smashes South Davidson.

Last week, 5-1 (83.3%), 20-3 overall (87%).

Fairmont at South Brunswick

Fairmont will get back on track next Friday Night and will cruise to a victory. The Tornadoes are not scoring as much as they have been and their defense has gotten worse, but you had better not count them out. I do not think they finish in the top half of the conference right now, but they may get better as the season goes along. Caulder has thrown for 800 yards almost and 6 touchdowns. There is no way South Brunswick can defend their athletes. Fairmont 30 South Brunswick 14.

Please note the maxpreps rankings are important because they will be used per NCHSAA.

While this isn't split up from 4A and 4AA I don't think I support some of these teams on here. Not exactly sure that middle creek and south Meck deserve such high spots in these rankings.

1a womens bball

With Winston Salem Preps Reign of terror over who will be the next 1a champion? Look a little deeper in that conference. No not Bishop, but Mt. Airy! This has to be the best 1a conference in the state. With 12 years of dominance in 1a WBB. Also with Riverside on the East best player coming off a ACL and possible transfer. I dont see anyone who can compete except for Bishop and Atkins.

SMAC Picks Wk 4

Chase @ Burns: Bruce Squires of Chase is a flat out burner, he has to be contained. Bulldogs move on to 4-0 behind the play of their D and a balanced attack offensively. 31-17 Dawgs

KM @ East Rutherford: The Mountaineers rebound from last week's dismal performance. 42-21 KM

RS @ Shelby:
RS is a surprising team, they're playing some good ball, but "If you ain't with the family, all y'all on the menu". The Lions eat this upcoming Friday. 45-7 Lions

Crest @ Draughn:
The Chargers show some offense vs the Wildcats. 35-0 Crest

East Burke: Bye

Where has school pride gone ??? Transfers

I grew up in a era where school and community pride mattered !! They were no way a kid would transfer to his rival team or to a inconference team just to be on a winning team or to get a ring. Many kids go to winning programs thinking they will have a chance to be recruited better by playing on a state championship caliber team. If you actually look at the end of their High School career it hasn't helped them at all because very few actually move on to the next level. Don't get me wrong, they were transfers back in the day but very very few. Back then kids had rather be on a losing team and finishing school with their lifetime friends than to transfer to a winning program. It was school pride and childhood friendships that held their loyalty. So what good is it going to a school to set on the bench just to say they went to state. Is this coming from today's parents or are they really a little recruiting going on ? To me this is a sad time in local high school sports. I have actually had this happen to me where another school wanted my child to transfer to their school. I spoke to my children and explained that I had rather them be win less and stay with their friends, school and community before they would go to a rival team. Maybe I'm just old and haven't changed with the times !!! Lol

Jacksonville vs Northside Jacksonville

Ok according to thelastninja Northside 38-14 what do you all think? Remember Jacksonville coming in 2-0 beat really bad SWO team no coaching and Maneo.. Well Jacksonville JV beat them 35-0. While Northside beat that powerhouse West Carteret team 26-6 or whatever it was and That state contender White Oak team who has not seen the playoffs in how many years? Mind you Jacksonville has so many darn sophomore in the starting lineup hell I can't even keep up with them. So let's hear it folks.

Mooresville 44 Hopewell 0

Mooresville led 37-0 at the half and tacked on another score early in the third quarter to put this one on ice. A running clock got us outta there before 9:00. The defense got three picks and a fumble recovery on the night. Hopewell is really struggling. Kannapolis is not and they will pay Mooresville a visit this Friday to close out non-conference play.

East Bladen 42 St Pauls 28

EB thrashed the Bulldogs in the 1st half leading 36-7. Then we come out and sleep walk through the 3rd and 4th quarters. Again, I'm very frustrated to see that type of effort. Physically, we are fine but we need to work on the mental aspect of the game. Ethan Hines turned in another great performance. He does it all and should get some All-State consideration.

Top 10 matchup Northside vs Clinton

Clinton is for real and Northside needs a win to legitimize there program and this could do it.

Nothing much to say about Clinton other than they will be playing for a 2a title. Northside on the other hand under new coach Pollock are looking for there first trip and have the talent, but no history in the big game.

If Northside pulls off this upset then expect to see Northside and Clinton rep the east in 2a and 2aa football.

Northside Jacksonville 49 - jacksonville 29 ...... reality check !!!

Like i said be fore .... northside is a very good 2aa school an jacksonville is in serious trouble once they play schools their own size ..... I AM A SOUTHWEST FAN BUT I ENJOY PREDICTION ...jacksonville will go 5 -6 ... northside will go 13 -2 or 12 -3 ... northside vs clinton will be a hell of a game to close to call i say 28 -21 .... who ever has the least turnovers ......footbalacholic please tell me what u thing jacksonville record will be .. break down each oppient

Asheville @ Southern Lee, Southern Lee, 28-26
Cape Fear @ Terry Sanford, Terry Sanford 28-26
