Wrh Vs East Duplin

Ok u havent heard i was at the game last night and i heard two people say we were gonna lose and we gonna get blown out.. By ED even my friends over there saying the same. Now i know not everyone over saying that but ill say this they know what their up against the its not gonna be a cake walk for neither team.
WRH was supposed to take a step back this year after Price left and maybe the talent had slipped a little but it seems they have not only kept the level of play high but may have even taken it to another level. Can anyone who has seen them play compare this teams offense and defense to previous champs?
Offense is real good. Probably not as good as 2 years ago with JJ and Keyshawn. Defense is elite. Probably best ever. KKevin has taken them to a higher level.
anyone who follows football regularly should know that it usually takes at least 2 or 3 years before the philosophy of a new coach is completely instilled in a team. right now the WRH players still carry the toughness and mentality that Price instilled in them. in 2 or 3 years we will start to see what kind of a team WRH will truly have under the new coach.
I can agree with this. Also a good portion of Price's staff is still there. I do think they will never get away from the Wing-T though. Just so effective at running it.
I think this year defense is the better as aby of those teams,i think this team has took on the identity of coach mott,tough ,gritty ,unwilling to give up, and a little more risky and rambunctious ,this team offense is good i think JJ. Teams offenses were better.
im not saying Coach Motzinger(or however you spell it) isnt a good coach, but i wasnt impressed with his James Kenan teams. i remember very well those teams being absolutely huge up front, but still unable to open up holes and run the ball very effectively. i would describe them as being very big, but kind of soft in the way they played the game. just my opinion.

hmmm. this is the same score as last year. this was a game ED had the chance to win up until the very end. we got almost everybody back from last year's squad, which was full of juniors. now of course they are seniors, so they are a little bigger and a little stronger than last year. therefore, despite not playing our best the last few games without our best player, we have still been winning without much trouble. somehow though, some people think WRH is going to win by 3 or 4 TD's LOL. remember now, last year's score was 17-7, with the WRH only scoring 10 pts. on our defense. one of the WRH scores was on a pick 6 which changed the momentum of the game. still, WRH wasnt able to run away with the game. why? because we had a stellar defense then, and we have a stellar defense now! 9 of the starters on that defense are starters now, so i dont how these guys come up with these outlandish predictions. this game will be very close unless one team or the other makes a lot of mistakes such as a lot of penalties or turnovers. if both teams play good, for the most part mistake free football, this game will go down to the wire. both defenses are too good and too fast.
I been saying wallace by 3 points not tds at first i said that until i saw ya play. A stout defense over there no doubt about it so is wallace. I give wallace the edge simply because they home doesnt mean their gonna win,again fans talking to hype theie team, it wont be settled by tje fans ,but by the players on the field friday night..

I seen them play twice first time i wasnt impressed friday night i saw a good stout defense against ashley so it has nothing to do with my nephew playing ,dogs79 i know what i said the day we talked in the grocery store,i seen them play twice the first i wasnt impressed a weak richlands team they hung 78 points on.not impressed i watched them last friday against a pretty decent ashley team whom they shut out until 4qtr.im saying their defense is stout.but im still have the dogs winning at home by 3 points or 3tds. I got wrh!!!
Me and one other picked WRH over Havelock.That's it. WRH is playing at a level that ED did not see last year. Plus, I think WRH should have won last year's contest by more. Our offense basically gave ED there only score. 31-10.
youre delusional. your mighty offense only scored 10 pts. on our defense last year. the other 7 came on a pick 6. our defense was almost entirely juniors last year. we have 9 starters back which are seniors now. therefore our defense is still very stout. you keep talking about how you beat Havelock. well i believe not only will Jacksonville, which we beat, give Havelock all they want, they may even beat them. make no mistake about it. we beat a very good team in Jacksonville. last year we had a chance to beat yall until very late in the game. even after the pick 6 WRH still couldnt manage to pull away because of our stellar defense. you guys may have improved from last year, but so have we. we havent played that well since our starting RB went out with a sprained ankle, but we have still been blowing people out anyway. what does that say? it says that even when we dont play our best we still usually outclass our opponent. and our star RB will be back Friday night! we have a bad habit of playing down to our competition. if its not a "big game" we sometimes dont have enough intensity. that wont be a problem Friday night. you keep thinking that this game is a sure win for WRH if you want to. win or lose for ED, WRH will know they are in a game Friday night. nothing will come easy. i can guarantee you that.
I'm not going to act like some others posting in this thread. Ignorance must truly be bliss... it will take a Herculean effort for the boys to pull thus upset off against one of the mightiest High School teams of all time.

As soon as Motzinger was hired I knew he would turn the D up a notch or two. Mot is a high energy players coach and his energy / excitement is contagious. I would guess that the WRH players enjoy playing for him. As for the "soft" reference, I would never classify his defense as soft. Perhaps a little over aggressive on occasion but certainly not soft. I respect your observation 96, but it is polar opposite of my observations.

i just hope we play well, win or lose. as for him being "down to earth", seems to be exact opposite to me. oh well, you always have at least one of those in every fan base. you on the other hand, seem to be a real cool guy. anyway, here's hoping for an injury free game.
Thanks blackdog. I stl don't like ED. I did play in golf tournament to help battles team this year. Help with Jeremiah Castillo camp. Love all those kids , but they are Panthers.
