Yep your team probably has the advantage this year I will give you that. But if ED has to go up there to Northeastern Canada you better blow ED away because if you let them hang around you know that's where the advantage goes to ED.

Most of the time but there are some teams that really know how to play ED. Most are close by and the other is down in Whiteville.

You are correct about who we’ve played but we could counter that with who has JK played? The toughest opponent was Whiteville and that game went to OT played in Duplin County. Kinston /Midway would be the next toughest maybe, but if that’s the case Kinston lost to Wrh. This same Kinston team had JK on the ropes in Duplin. County. We’re just splitting hairs until if/when NE@JK happens.

Dude I ain’t even saying JK the favorite in the east. I think yall boys would be 7 point favorite in Warsaw. But that bein said tho, to say that whiteville went to OT and Kinston hung around is just like me sayin JH rose was tight when yall was up like 30 at end of 3rd. Whiteville had to get a safety, us fumble them the ball with only needing 1 first down to win the game and also a long punt return to even take that to OT. And don’t get me started on kinston game. We had the ball on like they 20 our first 2 drives in a row, then 3rd drive fumbled on they 1 and they took it 99 for 7, so they up 7-0 with 2 yards of offense to our 110 or smthn like that. And it was a beatin after that. Kneed it on the 1 to end the game or woulda looked a little prettier and won by 10 even after that start. We can go back and forth all day I agree, but we definitely more battle tested.

I watched that game and saw the dumb mistakes JK made. That fumble on the goal line was almost a game changer. To JK’s credit they bent but didnt break. That’s what good teams do. I know JK will be favored Friday but I’m liking the Dogs to come out on top. I wouldn’t consider a Wrh win an upset because I think these are two evenly matched teams.

Great post, I definitely can appreciate that you have an open mind and keep it real. Some posters just live in a bubble and think no team outside a certain county are a threat. They have short memories when thinking a team from an inferior conference can just come into Duplin County and walk away with a win. We actually have some pretty good programs up in the northeast part of the state. Last season we played for the eastern title and Hertford County who was our conference second place team rolled into Teachey and came away with a very convincing win. Like yourself I think this game will be close but I give the edge to the Dogs. I know it’s very possible JK exits with a conference championship and that wouldn’t surprise me. It’s actually nice seeing that program having so much success. I’ll go back to the NE thread and talk to myself lol.
