Who wins the 2A and 2AA title

I think we need to see the eastern teams play a few more games before we can make reasonable predictions.

Most posters if not all ARE NOT REASONABLE ....LOL True die hard fans of their teams. All that are listed will go to the playoffs where anything can happen, and usually does to some extent. There will be favorites that go out early and long shots that go deep. SWO AND SHELBY are good examples from last year.

Yea I told everyone moorehead was not a good team. Reidsville just played awful. But since then they have gained momentum against way better teams.

Nw Guilford is still a big 4a teams you know they beat most 2a schools. They already beat Southeast Guilford. Magna vista is better than Morehead also. They are a 3a team out of va.

Besides I don’t really like out schedule you’ve heard me say it before. But I’ll say coach Teague tried his best with the schedule some of those teams just played in state championships a few years ago, hpa and magna vista.

We are getting a brand new schedule next year.

Its too early to give an accurate opinion regarding representation from the East as many teams have not been able to play. Regarding Reidsville in small 2A I will take them easily unless Shelby is moved down simply because no matter what Reidsville plays in such a terrible conference they will always have the home field advantage and its hard to win in that stadium, my wolves know that all too well.

Wouldn’t surprise me at all if we are 2A this season, we had a huge senior class last year. Anyway, we would make noise regardless the division. I respect South Point and Hibriten, they’re good, they are for real. But, you know for yourself that we are a different animal vs 2A competition, period. You know we still have athletes wearing those old gold helmets. When Shelby is so called down, that doesn’t apply to 2A competition.

I'm not gonna call names, BUT all I will say is that you have to be able to functionally throw the ball to win a title. There are those teams who have yet to be able to to this(wont call names). The ONLY reason Reidsville lost last year is because they tried to give a close game away. Hibriten won because they(as a running team) threw the ball more than the other running team.

Second, if you can't RUN the ball at all you will not get to the regional game, and may not even get passed the 2nd round.

Not calling any names, it doesn't take a genius to figure.

Oh trust me, now that we are facing 2A opposition, that offensive line will look much better. The pass blocking hasn’t looked that bad to me to begin with, in my opinion. None of these 2A schools will have the D line of those 3A teams that we lost to, and you know that.

Oh now you’ve edited your post and put in “meet” which you left out of the original post. I’ve already heard who you are and what you look like so I might take you up on that. We will see...pending swo making it to EC because you know we will be playing at home.

Reidsville goes through this year in and year out of we don’t play anyone your conference is cupcake. But we’re always in the semifinals or state championship. What sense do it make to go and schedule the Mallard Creeks, and Charlotte Catholics of high school football. When your teams has mostly two way players and these big elite 4A schools has one way players. When a 2A school lose a player to injury is usually a lost at two positions. No way can schools with 2 way starters stay healthy playing a brutal schedule week in and week out against powerhouse 3AA and 4/4AA schools. The goal is to win states at your level not play the toughest non conference schedule you can find so you can beat your chest then come conference play and playoffs and you have three or four 2 way starters out because of injuries from having to play all 4 qtrs every week.

I heard we had around 841 ADM at the start of this year. If really doesn't matter the state will decide the cutoff line and we will fall where ever our number puts us. We don't make the rules we just play by them. It's the Crest Jack Asses that make up their on own rules to go by so they can win

No Doubt NE will be playing at home cause there's no one in your conference or on your schedule of any caliber. Doesnt matter if your Coach tries to schedule real teams or not because as of now you're still playing cupcakes. The truth is the truth.

Great post stan and I will add this. The Rams are starting 7, 10th graders. 2 of them have had to go both ways at some point and they are still winning in 2a, 3a and 4a. In both Va and NC. They may not be as strong or as deep as past teams but they are giving their all.

Never met him and we're not from the same school but we know football and have played against each other. Like it or not but I see the Truth is hard for you to swallow. To earn respect you must defeat Good teams and I'm sorry but your schedule does not reflect that.

The biggest question marks we had coming into this season were QB an O line. I think the QB had been much better than expected . The O Line continues to improve.
I don't take away from Shelby, SWO, Randleman, Eastern Randolph, Northeastern or any other program.
I will be willing to bet regardless of schedule, Highbriten hasn't played as good of a schedule as Reidsville. Maxpreps, Simmons Ratings or any other schedule ranking system will agree. I'm NOT taking away from how good they may be and we'll never them up btw

We have a team that can go back to the finals, but to me inexperience could do us in if anything. I don't think our schedule is as bad as people make it out to be. It could be better yes. We don't have anyone in our area to help back us up, so it makes it look worse.
