West Charlotte at Dudley

The game isn't close. They are getting manhandled. I stand on they are over ranked yearly. They play no one and it comes back to haunt them. When they can line up and out athlete and power teams they succeed. When x's and o's come in to play they get exposed.
This game is QB Play. WC has hit on big passes whereas Dudley QB has taken some bad sacks, and missed some throws. Dudley is playing a mirror image and WC is not scared of Dudley. WC lost to Kings Mountain and Crest which were different environments. Playing at Dudley sounds and feels like a home game. For some schools Lincoln Street is intimidating for WC its like home.
Picked both Charlotte schools to win on the road. Not sure folks realize how good Hough/WC are.
Max Preps has it final 21-6. Seems people are always playing games on there with final scores.
This is a BIG statement game for WC. Next week is going to be huge!
yeah I think next week the game will go to the wire. 2 teams with the same colors
Hickory doesnt have the defense to stop WC.
Who has the defense to stop Hickory?
Didn’t say they’d do that, they didn’t out athlete Crest. Just curious who had the defense to stop

WC may not "stop" them but I think they are two to three stops better than Hickory and will win by several scores.
Dudley plays bums, they aren’t that good. But congrats to your guys
We’ll see. I’ll just say this, Dudley’s offense isn’t even in the same area code as Hickory’s.
West Charlotte does. They hit Dudley in the mouth ALL NIGHT LONG!!!
Hickory's defense isn't even on the same planet as WC's. They haven't played anyone!!!!!
I know it was just a half but interesting that Shelby was able to beat West Charlotte 31-21 in the Cleveland County Jamboree this year.

If you think Dudley wasn’t good you’re a special kind of ignorant. WC was just better. The schedule was weak and I do think Grimsley would beat them badly. Grimsley would also beat Hickory badly. Dudley is 3A and they are a force in that classification. Don’t fool yourself they’d have a great chance to beat Hickory. I’ll take WC to beat Hickory. Both WC and Dudley’s defenses would have been a major challenge for Hickory I believe. You’ll believe too in about a week.
I’m not saying this will happen to Hickory first off so we’re clear. I will however give you two examples of offenses that were in the same class as Hickory. 2014 Havelock, 51 points a game ran into Crest with a dominant defense in the state championship/ held to 3 points. 2016 Hibriten, just over 50 points a game ran into a Dominant SP defense in the western final and was shut out. I don’t believe this would happen to Hickory but nobody seen it coming back then either. Just a reminder that it’s played on the field.
Watched this game from start to finish. It wasn't as close as the score. Dudley's last score came against WC second unit. Dudley's execution was poor. Many mistakes and discuss. WC speed on defense left no ground game for Dudley. They disrupted the passing game with a lot of pressure on the Dudley Qb all night.
Dudley makes too many mistakes and is their own worst enemy at times. Like you stated, poor execution. West Charlotte had these problems in last few seasons but has cleaned it up and executing on offense this year. That is one of the main reasons they’ll be playing in the regional finals this year. I’m looking forward to seeing how good Nichols can be going forward. Only a sophomore starting at QB for the Lions.
