and also sea dog i watched both games i wasnt just saying it for no reason plus 71st pretty much returned their whole entire team almost from last year so it makes sense why they are so good but they are definitely way bigger this year than last year but like i said you will see i didnt think they was that good but after watching them i think they honestly could compete for the 4a with how good they are plus also having the depth and size
Holding Hickory to 14 points is as good as a shutout in my book😂😂
Congrats to WC. Definitely won the 2nd half with grind out run game and physicality. Thought they might be more explosive offensively.

That’s why High School Football is awesome! You have to prove that you are the best in the arena. You can beat up every team in the eastern part of the State, but the job ain’t done until you beat the man from the West!

30-6 Second Half, Should have been 37 if the Refs didn't call some BS on the Armside Kick by Hickory that WC took back to the House!!!! Hickory fans was Overconfident and Arrogant. They haven't never played any team from the Charlotte Area, different type of mindset than playing East Lincoln, Statesville and North Lincoln. West Charlotte has played against Charlotte Hough, Independence, Chambers and Mallard Creek. Different type of Ball down there. Hickory cracked under pressure from that Defense of WC!!!

West Charlotte outplayed my Red Tornadoes tonight. Uncharacteristically we had too many mistakes when we were in scoring territory. Goodluck to WC going forward. Bring that trophy back to the West!
Sitting here at home now in front of the fire I’m still scratching my head over some of the play calls. It doesn’t matter if you’re on the 2 yard line or the 22 yard line, you don’t take the best QB in the state out of the game for 3 consecutive plays.
Hickory should have ran the ball wayyy more. 7 yards a pop with 34. Also someone needs to be in charge of counting WC players on the field. Had a punt return. With 10 on the field and like 3 straight plays on the goal line....after a timeout no less
Not going to argue with you on WC being the better team. But, if you want to talk about who will put your dick in the dirt harder, we may have a problem. Mecklenburg county is soft in my book!
Congrats West Charlotte, once you guys got the momentum you never gave it back. Both teams made several mistakes but Hickory’s turnovers inside the 5 were back breakers.
I like Havelock and understand how good they have been. However, they will get their arses whipped on most occasions when it comes to physicality. Crest dragged you like pop warner all stars on the big stage! It was embarrassing. I wanted to hide my wife and children from that slaughter. Catholic did the same thing to a lesser degree.
The Big South and our Mountain brothers will whip that eastern arse like a rented mule! Your only salvation is a Pharoah, if you get my drift.

Hickorys inability to capitalize on good field position off the failed fake punt and 2 turnovers in the redzone was there undoing. Credit WC defense for that.
I was there and seen it go call somebody else a lair clown . I sat on west side happened right in front of me . Kid would run off hand helmet to another he run on
Here’s my thought on the game .. last night was my 4th time seeing hickory in the last couple years and last night was the first time I have seen Stober struggle ..he actually missed passes but he had pressure all night too .. West made big mistake in the first half from offense but the defense bailed them out and held hickory to 0 points on 2 ints and a silly fake punt. I had said after half we would see what staff made the best adjustments and we did .. west showed out. The fumble at the 1 and the int at the 1 (for the most part) killed any hope hickory had.
West is a great football team with great kids and coaches and fans .. I watched the team closely during the game cause I wanted to see how they handled adversity when they were down .. Great .. they never gave up and never got defeated .. that tells me that the coaches are top notch!!! I like that team I sat with last night … fans are what fans should be !!!
The clock 😳 I texted Rulz and told him that hickory had the ball and was starting a drive with 6:47 left .. hickory drives the feild and we look up and the clock has 7:25 on it .. everyone was freaking out including the west coaches .. now if the bulbs were out that makes sense but it looked like a min. was added on to everyone. 😂
Hickory is a great team and had an outstanding run of wins but they were knocked out last night by another great program … hope West Charlotte represents our side of the state well and whips the piss out of the eastern boys !!!
