Good game last night over at McCrary. Post 45 prevailed 6-4. Highlight of the game was Braylen Hayes's massive two-run shot over the left field wall. Good heavens, that thing was crushed.
Speaking of McCrary.............man does that place look different. The field is 100% synthetic now. The bleachers along the third base side are gone. The new dugouts look awesome. So does the wall. They've placed a set of bleachers closer to the action along the first base side and it's a great view. It looks they're doing some other things as well but these things are incomplete.
I'll be honest...........some of the changes I like, some I don't. The field does look nice and purdy. However, the ball travels so slow on the turf. You can't afford to sit back and wait on the ball if you're a fielder. It'll be interesting to hear people's opinions on it.
