SWO is huge up front with OU commit Green plus Carter, Rouse and Co. and NE defensive line could be one of the best regardless of class at full strength. Riddick 6'5 210, Spellman (JR walkers bro) 6'4 225, Quasi Thomas 6'2 265, Lil Freshwater 6'3 265, Big Freshwater 6'2 235 and now ODU commit Jorrell Baum is healthy 6'5 220. I would pay twice to see this matchup!!

That's the kind of conversation we could be having all along...with actual facts not just people blowing smoke out of their tails lol. Yes our d-line is crazy big and fast and that's why I say the jordan kid may not be getting any kind of yardage if they play us. As far as our o-line as long as they do their job and block I don't think they will be able to stop our running game nor our passing game. If Harris gets an opening he's gone. If the pass isn't there he's gonna take off. Not to mention if Freshwater gets the ball. Btw I like how you said the big freshwater/little freshwater thing lol.
I'm not the one he needs to be worried about lol. All the stuff he said about some of our players, he better worry about their parents getting to him lol. However, he has to admit who he really is first.
Just to clarify this , when Northeastern played Currituck we played mostly jv players. I knew we were minus 6 starters but I didn't know all the details until after talking with one of our star players last night. I was showing him all the negative posts on here from other teams fans. To say he and his father were stunned would be an understatement. I felt I had to do it just so they could see first hand how other teams fans view our Eagles. He saw all the posts disrespecting not only him but his fellow players as well. To my surprise he didn't even know about the forums up here. Many times we get caught up in all the back and forth trash talking and tend to forget that these are just kids. We want to relive our high school days and wish it was us out there suiting up on Friday nights. I can't speak for others but I know myself that on Friday nights when I'm sitting in those stands it takes me back to a time that I dearly miss.
That's been my whole point all along. People are talking about people's kids. It's one thing to have an opinion, but the disrespect is uncalled for. I have talked to players and they want to play swo more than wrh now!

Lil Freshwater is only 14 yrs old and is 6'3 225. He will be a star. For those of you who think our program will fall off when big Freshwater leaves, don't kid yourself. We are in good shape for years to come

Nice post, please understand that I do respect SWO program. I have made some derogatory posts that maybe I shouldn't have. I made the mistake of letting 1 SWO poster get under my skin. I do want to face SWO more than any other team, and that includes WRH. I know that would provide some much needed closure, win or lose. There has been quite a battle of words up here between myself, SWO 05,Eagle Fan,and a few other posters from our area schools for the last 2 months. If I thought the championship game against Croatan would be a good one then I'd make the drive just so I could see your team for myself. From reading yalls thread and seeing how badly you've beaten the teams in your conference I think it would be a waste of time. I went to our game against Ptank last Thursday just because I love the atmosphere here in Elizabeth City. That game was over before it started,lol. We have some really bad teams in our conference this year, even worse than in previous years.
I know I brag about my Eagles all the time but the one area that concerns me most come playoff time is our kicking game. Im not going to dwell into it but it is a cause for concern in my opinion.

Its good the young man is 14 playing varsity football. I think thats Southwest edge on alot of teams in the playoffs this year.The last time SW went to NE it was ugly. Alot of those kids were young, Now there Seniors.

The kicker we have now is actually very good. I don’t think he’s missed any since he’s been kicking. It’s a different kid from the one we had at the beginning of the season.

Oh, I didn't know that. I noticed during the Ptank game that every time our kicker kicked off after a td that the panthers were receiving the ball around the 25-30 yard line. They had good field position every time. I know early in the season we couldn't make a pat. We were fortunate to have Sunshine and the Iceman for all those years and we got spoiled. Caleb (Gates) is a really good kicker, I only wished he lived here. When I go the Gates County games he's constantly putting the ball in the end zone on the kickoffs. I was at the game against Hertford County when he hit a 42 yarder, It was dead center, I was like d**#.
