Reading some articles from their local papers it must not even be on their minds.Getting back to consolidation, are there any other schools in the WNC that might consolidate? Could Rosman and Brevard eventually consolidate?
They've got $68 million for renovations and addions to Rosman high and middle school and Brevard high school. They've been having issues getting it all started for different reasons looks like covid caused delays as well. But seems you could build a new high school somewhere in the middle and save money keeping up one high school. When does it come advantageous over time to keep up a high school for 284 students and is that number steady, going up or going down?
But I don't know much about the county so there's probably issues that I'm not aware of on why they're remodeling instead of building new, just going by my own county we went from 4 high schools to 3 to 2 and now 1 and now going to consolidate the last 2 middle schools because lower enrollment plus old buildings in need of repair especially one is.
