    Tuscola @ Hibriten rd 1

https://carolinapreps.smugmug.com/StadiumProject/Hibriten/i-Br4hkQS/A Probably going to be really cold too. If I remember correctly there is a hill and the wind really whips thru the visitors' bleachers.

    Mountain ball

If you're talking to me, definitely not. Never did any damage at a game, never threw trash. It's not right, it's just petty. Pisgah won at a Brevard game one year and 6 or 8 windshields got broken. Don't need to teach the kids to act like that.

    Mountain ball

Honest question: Do you remember WHEN those penalties evened out? If I remember correctly it was very lopsided against Pisgah in the first half, something like 17-5. In the second half it leaned more toward Robbinsville. The Visitors' set of stands is right at the fence. You could hear a lot. In...

What kind of brackets will there be?

Just wondering...will there be a single bracket of 32 teams whittling down to one champion or two of 16 each that end with a champion? Since Pisgah's Coach Chappell has said there will be six rounds of playoffs, I'm thinking it's the first, but I'm not sure. Just something to pass the time till...

    Mountain 7 - Week 11

I understand the expectations may not be great for Pisgah by some people, but how many teams could win 9 road games, having as many injuries as we have? About 5 or 6 players, most, if not all, starters. I for one am not betting against them.

    The State of Tuscola Football

I have a friend whose son played for Pursley. He was a starter on defense. He injured his knee, not severely, but enough to where the sports medicine docs told him no practice or game for at least a week. He went to practice, but didn't dress out.

Coronavirus Pandemic with update from NCHSAA

I just thought recently about even in the biggest games, in our case Pisgah vs. Tuscola, and with all the animosity between the two schools, there is no better, no more thrilling place to be; you can call it hatred you can call it rivalry. Yet now, when it's all up in the air, there's no place...

    South Point playing Smoky Mountain

I know Will Frady (#44) is a load, but Dustin Stephens impressed me so much against Pisgah. He ran for more yards than Frady (145 vs 139), ran back kickoffs and punts, had 35 yds receiving, played defense (had an INT), heck, he may have even been the punter. I thought HE should have been the...

    Brevard @ Pisgah

Actually there were three. At the 9, the 5 and the 10. I told my cousin whom I always attend games with I thought the outcome would depend on mistakes...may be the first time I've been right all year, lol.

    2018 NC Shrine Bowl Team

Kam Walker (ATH/ DE) from Pisgah is listed under the wrong school. Not sure who "Ken Walker" is. Thought he might be from Clayton (Where Kam was listed) but they have no one by that name on their roster.

    Pisgah, Mt. Heritage, Swain Scrimmage

I realize you're talking about scrimmages, and this reaches back a few years, but, "Never," you say? It was a Conference game back then, AT MHHS. http://www.maxpreps.com/high-schools/pisgah-bears-(canton,nc)/football-fall-04/schedule.htm Looking forward to Friday.

Brookshire to Tuscola? What's next for SM??

Pisgah and Tuscola are rivals, and have been for over 50 years. I am sure Waynesville Township and Canton High Schools were before the new schools were created. At times the rivalry was pretty lopsided. It started 7-0 in Pisgah's favor the first 7 years. Then in the 80's Tuscola went on a streak...

    ****Franklin vs Pisgah Rd2****

Do we really have SMC officials for this game? We've seen some bad officiating (or 3 blind mice officiating) in numerous games this year, but I still have a bitter taste from the Pisgah at Robbinsville game several years ago. Every crew seems to have their specialty--pass interference...

    GreenEville Vs. Pisgah

Actually we were pretty flat for South Point.

    GreenEville Vs. Pisgah

VERY good quarterback and good sized O-line. Deserved to win the game, as they did. They did not need to have the game tainted as it was by such poor officiating. There were many holding penalties that weren't called. That being said, I was proud that we showed up well to support our Bears. Our...

    GreenEville Vs. Pisgah

"Little Murphy" has Coach David Gentry and his 300-plus wins. He himself has won seven state championships with them, and I think the school as a whole has somewhere between 11 and 15. They played like Champions and have my respect. I just think this will be a lot closer game than most think. I...

    GreenEville Vs. Pisgah

According to visitgreenevilletn.com, stadium capacity is 3,800. Can that be right? I hope Pisgah Nation travels as well as usual and fills the visitors side.
