What do they have for 2024? They usually finish in the middle of the Conference standing. They have alot of offense, but not too good on defense. I will say this much. It never gets boring watching a Davie County game. Any thoughts?

Hoping to hear his name called sometime this weekend. Kris Williams aka Claus played QB and safety for Clinton 2015-2017 his best season that 2016 season where he passed for 900 yards 15 TDs ran for 309 and 7 TDs and had 11 or 12 INTs from his safety position helping Clinton to a 13-1 record. Was a very talented basketball player aswell. Played DB at UNLV the past two seasons after transferring from Limestone. Realistically a day 3/UDFA but just having the opportunity to make it is a blessing. Good luck to him.

My thing is - Should Garinger even have Football? We seen other school either cancel or eliminate football so I’m curious if that would be a good or bad resolution?

The rich get richer as Reagan's RB Jaylen Moore will be playing football at East Forsyth the next two years; Moore ran for over 1000yds his freshman and sophomore seasons.
East is absolutely loaded for the fall season as QB Bryce Baker(UNC commit) and Moore will give them one of the best backfields in the state.

JayDon Blair who's dad was an NFL player is a top recruit garnishing a soon to be 5 star rating among recruiting websites. He and 4 Star WR Snook Peterkin made a deep run in the 4A playoffs last season and big things are expected out of Tabor who returns nearly the entire starting offense.

THANK YOU to Coach Randy Marion for your many years served on East Surry's Football Coaching Staff, along with Athletic Director. Coach Marion officially began his duties as Assistant Principal at East Surry in December, and in doing so had to step down as our defensive coordinator. Coach Manon is one of the best men, has one of the best defensive minds, and one of the truest professionals I've worked with. I can't thank him enough for his dedication, knowledge, commitment, and SELFLESS investment into our program! It was one heck of a ride, Coach! In my six years here, Coach Marion's defenses helped us to a:


68-12 record, 1 State Championship. 2 State Runner-Ups & Regional Championships, 3


Consecutive trips to State Finals, 4 consecutive Conference Championships, and 4 Conference Defensive Players of the Year.


We are looking to fill our Defensive Coordinator position with an experienced assistant coach who has 5+ years of high school or college coaching experience. Coordinator Experience preferred. There is an EC Teaching position available and posted, and other teaching positions that may open.

Just over 4 months and waiting to see what the Bears bring back and who does anyone see beating them this year or who do you see matching up well this season in a close game?
