1A West Realignment Numbers

This looks like there are 26 schools in the 1A West. Maybe 10 of these have a football team. The SMC looks to be a good possible league, but the outliers like S Davidson and N Stokes are stuck like Chuck with few options. Probably end up in split leagues?

Projections - this is not official and may change but wanted to get it started. I will update when official brackets released. But one can sure hope for the 15 v 18 matchup, even though it stinks conference teams playing 1st round.

The 🧩 piece collecting, The Facemask grabbing, the making players quit, the tired in 2nd half playing, the smoke rolling, boom deviling Blue devils at the Co-Conference Champ Big Bad Wolves.
15. Lincolnton vs 18. Maiden

7. Mount Pleasant vs 26. West Lincoln

10. Community School of Davidson vs 23.Bandys (what a good draw if this stays)

8. Bunker Hill vs 25. Hendersonville

MPC Playoffs

ND at North Lincoln
OG vs North Iredell
MC at South Point
Aboro at Dudley
CD at AC Reynolds

It's that time, and unfortunately I only see Oak Grove winning. Unfortunately even more, I see OG going out in the second or third round. Bad draw but this year there aren't many weak teams after round one imo. Good luck to all!

ND will be a big underdog to NL but we've been here before... this team doesn't have the talent that the one that beat Scotland County did but it has happened just saying... if we get blown out we were supposed to be anyway haha.

OG will destroy North Iredell. Then it gets hard quick. Rematch with Crest from a few years ago. Then if they survive that Hickory awaits. Grizzlies have the ability but need the statement win to be taken seriously as the team from the weak conference in the establishments eyes...

MC will be killed. Ditto for Aboro. And make it triple for CD.

Eastern Plains Conference

The conference has a great first round showing. Upsets by Greene Central, West Craven, and SW Edgecombe. Home victories by Farmville Central and Ayden Grifton. A solid, strong showing in a loss by Washington vs WRH. And North Pitt lost, but to another EPC team (Farmville). The fact that every team got in makes no sense, but that's the world we live in now. I mean, West Craven finished dead last in the conference, but gets to have a home playoff game next week lol. Make that make sense lol. I do think all five get eliminated next week though, but for one week, the EPC was strong💪🏽.

R-S Central at Reidsville round 1

First time these schools have met in football. Rams need to score 10 or more points to extend state-best streak to 130 and they need to avoid shutout to extend that state-best streak to 390.

Major question mark for Reidsville: Who will step up at running back with Jariel Cobb out for the year? He finished the season with 1524 yards and 23 TDs while averaging 10.7 yards per carry. Next in yardage on the running backs list is freshman Josiah Samalou with 74 yards on 14 carries but I heard he was also injured.

FIRST ROUND UPSETS

Let's hear it, teams that can pull off a upset in the first round. These are the teams that I think will get the job done on the road in round one.
(17)Greene Central over (16)Midway
(20)Southwest Edgecombe over (13)Cummings
(23)Princeton over (10)East Carteret
(19)Kinston over (14)South Columbus
The biggest upset i think could happen is (28)North Johnston over (5)Martin County.
