I’m proud of the Cavaliers!!! I only seen them 2 times this year and last year .. I was impressed with the size of the line and QB play .. I still believe they should have beat brevard they just didn’t finish them out when they had a chance.

Absolutely. Widerman and Mansfield were the most missed players from last season. Still dont see the logic in using a guy there that didnt want to play defense in the first place.
Amazed how CSD is making this run. Forest Hills thumped them 36-7 this year and honestly they looked bad that night. They must have figured something out.

Moeller came out on top, defeating St. Xavier 28-23 in their regional final to get to their fourth consecutive state semifinals. It was not the State Championship game. They play #2 Centerville High School in the state semifinals on 11/29
I can honestly say from recruiting them Reidsville is a good but not a number one seed in my opinion. After watching them against Walkertown, I thought they were at best average. Not having a true QB will hurt them in the later rounds if not 3 round. I do respect the true pride that they bring to every game and to be honest most teams that play Reidsville are down 14 to nothing mentally before they step on the field. This is the first time I have every seen them look this short on both sides of the ball. They don't have much depth and whenever you got your QB playing defense too, that is something to be said about. Offensive line is small but the d-line has some size. They will still be a hard out but if you can run at them they will have issues just because they don't have enough depth to make this run this year.

Crest played in a con with Hickory. After Crest played them one night, Roy Kirby was talking to Lou Holtz. Roy told him SC needed to offer this kicker by the name of Ryan Succop. Lou told him they don't offer kickers. Lou called Roy later and said, we have offered a kicker. 😀
Succop kicked for KC for years.. Brandon Spikes and company used to wear Hickory out then Succop would boot a long field goal and be the highlight of the game😂
Our qb playing with broke foot has been since Burns game its on the side of foot but still.
He wears a boot all week then plays..
So give him credit, he got loose last night and made some killer throws.
Shelbys front 7 made the difference. Think at halftime Maiden had only 40 rushing yards and 58 passing,.
We still got to clean alot up.
It shows that its been awhile since the Shelby starters got a whole game together, after playing all those weak teams, and playing lot of subs
Forest Hills hits the road again, this time heading up I-85 to square off against Salisbury. I believe FH advances to the 4th round if they can eliminate the penalties and play their game. The defense has improved and the offense is firing on all cylinders.
Not sure how good the 11-1 record is for Salisbury by looking at their schedule and scores, and also not sure about their level of home-field advantage.

Whoever wins this game will make the 4A Eastern Regional Finals. Cleveland hasn’t shown me anything to think they can beat either two teams. Richmond has been underrated all year. The offense is decent, but the defense is legitimate.
Rolesville will be their biggest challenge so far this year. Richmond will score on Rolesville, but can’t their defense contain Rolesville’s offense? No one has been able to do so all year.
Shelby’s defensive line is very fast and the qb can throw the pig skin well. The qb has great size and can eluded tackles very well. He’s not gonna break off 6070 yard runs but he can pick up 15-20 when scrambling.
