No, you get to mingle with us briefly! Even come in the same gate and have to walk around the outside of the trackHey man. Is there visitor side parking @ OG?
As far as talent goes this isn't a vintage Cherokee team by any stretch, no disrespect to the Braves but I don't think this game will in any way be close or competitive. That result would tickle me to death. I'm expecting a way tougher game unfortunately.
Hey man. Is there visitor side parking @ OG?I agree with you but that's why they play the game... like Rulz said I just want to see a good game between quality teams...
Cleveland County usually boatraces Davidson County. Off the top of my head...
1968 Shelby beat Tville for WNCHSAA
1975 ND Shelby tie for WNCHSAA
1976 Shelby shuts out Lexington for WNCHSAA (Lexington had nine shutouts themselves that year but injuries from the ND game previous week derailed their depth for title game. No excuses, I think Shebly would have beat them or us at full strength that year anyway based on research)
1980 Lexington beats Crest in 3A state playoffs before losing to Williams in NCHSAA title game
2002 Shelby beats Lexington in 2A playoffs
2018 Shelby beats ND for 2AA title
2021 Crest beats ND in 3A playoffs
2022 Crest beats OG in 3A playoffs
History says Cleveland County by a mile. But you never know...
I agree with you but that's why they play the game... like Rulz said I just want to see a good game between quality teams...I watched that game on YouTube earlier this week….Charlotte Catholic who Crest played earlier this year would handle WF so you no where I’m going with this😂
This is fantastic my good sir. The Black Knights come out in the smoke to open the game to Hells Bells and Back in Black. Before Back in Black the Dark Knight lines "the night is darkest just before the dawn... I promise you, the dawn is coming... And here we... go!" play, then the Knights run out to the ND in the middle. So semi relevant stuff lol... I hope the Chargers and Lions and Bulldogs and Mountaineers can come out to our place one day to see. That would mean we're relevant again at least in the playoffs if not a regular season game lmao
Also I thought it was Boiling Springs Crest and that they take umbrage at being called Shelby in any way shape or form but i digress lol. You guys are great and I look forward to seeing ya in person my friendsNo he didn't just recommend Lexington BBQ to people coming from Shelby????? 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We got some good ones too! With all we have been through I can honestly say our coaches have coached their ass off. We thought at the beginning of practice we would have a really good offensive line. The first day of practice and we only have 1 returning offensive lineman. The good news is the regular season is over and here we are! 2nd rd of playoffs coming up and we have an experienced line now. We gonna line up and play!!very good point about the coaches Otis. They are experienced the staff is loaded.
One of the best to do, she puts her all into coaching. She will be fine. She is a strong coach and they definitely have some skill! They won't have the ability to play the way her teams at Thomasville did but she carries her reputation for a reason; she's a good one! Hate it for Thomasville.
Boone will be crowded Saturday with App State playing at home. They’re considering moving the game to Saturday. No problem playing in the snow, there are concerns with roads traveling to the game.
Freedom had a nice opening against Draughn tonight. The boys got a running clock win, while the girls pulled out a workmanlike victory. The Lady Pats have some holes to plug, but they get E. Burke next week and that will tell me a lot about what they might look like going forward. As for the boys, they were firing on all cylinders and got nice balance in their scoring in the win. Amore Connelly threw down two nice dunks and Kobe Bryant also got one. Freedom has depth, shooters and plays good defense and they could go a long way if they'll push the tempo and get their opponent's tongues hanging out. I'll know more about them after they face Hickory and A.C. Reynolds in December.
