Cherokee at Eastern Randolph

I'm just glad to be playing the Braves in something other than girls basketball. Atmosphere should be electric. Cherokee travels very, very well.

As far as the game, I'm not sure what to expect. I just hope it's a good one.
The stands are always overflowing with students, parents, and alumni all coming together to cheer them on. I still remember the last time Cherokee faced a tough opponent, the atmosphere was insane and it brought out the best in the players.

One of my favorite football memories was watching Cherokee beat North Duplin in a light snowfall for the state championship. They had Carter-Finley packed.

Cherokee not in school today due to snow, not sure how that affects their ability to play this game.
Will the system allow a bus to travel in snowy conditions? Seems like that could be dangerous and major law suit waiting to happen. Safe Travels!

In the words of the legendary game Mortal Kombat, "Flawless Victory!"

That was, by far, the best, most complete half of football played by the Cats all year. Kobe Walker's very early pick six set the tone. Kobe also had a magnificent touchdown run down the left sideline later on. Cade McCallum threw two really nice TD passes to Deshaun Shamberger and Aiden Goodman. Lucas Smith ran hard as usual and had a rushing TD of his own. This also might have been the best ER's secondary has played all year.

Cherokee's not a bad team. They just ran into the best version of ER at the worst time. Their QB, Johnathon Saylor, can flat scoot.
