I'm just glad to be playing the Braves in something other than girls basketball. Atmosphere should be electric. Cherokee travels very, very well.

As far as the game, I'm not sure what to expect. I just hope it's a good one.

As far as talent goes this isn't a vintage Cherokee team by any stretch, no disrespect to the Braves but I don't think this game will in any way be close or competitive.

One of my favorite football memories was watching Cherokee beat North Duplin in a light snowfall for the state championship. They had Carter-Finley packed.
