I believe Burns was named after a board member or educator.
There was also a Crest high in Boiling Springs before the new Crest high was built. I believe they were the Crest Falcons. Once consolidation happened you had Cleveland Rural Education Stands Together and they were the Chargers.Found an interesting one
Crest stands for Cleveland Rural Education Stands Together
They’re considering moving the game to Saturday. No problem playing in the snow, there are concerns with roads traveling to the game.Chance the game has to be moved due to the snow?
He would have a hard time playing basketball at TN. Rick Barnes isn’t going to wait around on football season to be over. Oregon is the easiest place to play both.Oregon has the money to move his family out west, I do not think being homesick will be a factor. I honestly thought Tennessee would be his choice because of the strengths of BB and FB teams.
Hardly anyone comment on this site anymore 😔not much chatter here on this great matchup ?????
Murphy is named for Archibald Murphey, who was a state legislator who was an early proponent of public schools. The fact that the town spelled his name wrong is pretty ironic.
Oh, they know who you are, and they know you're trouble. As far as guests, I know they'd rather have us kindly Lincolnton fans.Good no rules in place for me 🤣. @Lincolnton 😉 😉. I get to fly under the radar 👿
My friend, I don't know, Saturday's high in Boone is expected to be a balmy 40°, with clouds, but on the plus side the wind speed is predicted to be 17 knots, which off the head, I think is about 20 mph. Their forecast for tonight is a low of 23 with snow showers tomorrow and Friday. When that polar express comes over the knob, there, it can feel really cold...Might have to take a quilt with you.I’m sure they keep out the cold wind. I’d break them out again. Going to the App game Saturday and could probably use a pair.
