Good season fellas, no team making a deep run this year unfortunately. Good competition during conference play though. Realignment will be interesting. Round ball and wrestling mat for the next few months.

It’s been real guys and I’ll miss yall. Some I’ll see posting some I may not. We’ll see what WC boys and EB girls do in the hoops. Whoever has the best mat boys cheers for a good season as well.

I felt great about our chances going into last nights game. We are healthy and our guys are playing together well which they haven’t always done this year. I told you ED would not hold us to 14 points. Would you have ever thought we would shut you out in the 2nd half? When your rb #39 rolled his ankle last night and went out for a while I thought when he came back out he never ran as hard as he did earlier and I also felt our staff made some really good adjustments to what ED was doing.

Idk about bags but they do make you empty everything out of pocket and walk through metal detectors. Takes forever… get there really early and it’s not bad . That’s what I did last year

Shelby got to clean up somethings, but we played with all starters last night and not for a half or sub so much by less competition.

It seems as Corvian has managed to give the rest of the 1A West a taste of what it's like to be in the SMC. In the SMC we will fight each other like cats and dogs, but when we play others in the playoffs, most of us pull for each other. It seems like the SMC, Mt Airy, Starmount, Tarboro and others are all pulling for ER. I know I am.

For what it's worth. Many people on here complain about Charter and private schools, yet continually vote in the same people in the General Assembly that is all about giving money to these schools and drain traditional public schools. As the GA controls the NCHSAA we know they will take care of their charter and private schools. The best way to solve the issue is to elect pro public education representatives. As long as the same are in power we will see the voucher program increase and your small local community scholl will suffer.

You are right. SP played last night like it was the first game of the season. Not sure what was going on but you could see it when they came out to start the second half. Low energy level, almost like they did not want to be there. Ashbrook was definitely the better team last night. I think SP played a better game the first time with the Ashbrook "GreenWolves", ha ha. Yes, we heard the P.A.'s brain fart.

Yes. Great coach. 🙄. I can’t wait to play them going forward now that we finally have kids coming back out. I’m so sick of hearing how great they are. I don’t remember them winning anything. Conference ? I’m only glad that Coach Robinson stayed in Yancey. I’m fairly certain we can defend the QB power going forward. That eliminates 95% of the offense.
