It wasn't always like that. Growing up on a tobacco farm, I never shot anything but long guns until Patrol School. I had a bit of a learning curve. If you look at the film of the Murphy-ER game a few years ago in the playoffs, #30 at nose guard was my son. You may even spot me going nuts on the visitors side. Great memory.
We got tobacco farm in common. Raised flue cured for 50 years. Ok I count since I was five because that’s when daddy put me on a 140 in field first time. Didn’t last long up there. Started priming when I was eight. Stupid little brother!
Anyway we grew up with 22s then 410s then Brownings in bigger gauges, then finally deer rifles. My introduction to pistols has been in last five years more or less (old and not as full of myself as I used to be)
If I had fifty years to practice maybe I could become a decent shot…
