Being an ass is not excused because you are old and feeble. The allegiance of a poster does not make it a thread ABOUT his school. I'm confident that my education level is much higher than yours and I see well enough to shoot 100% on a 25 yard course with a pistol. Now, if you are finished being a key -board warrior, it's probably your bedtime
To go down yet another tangent, that’s some impressive shooting. Personally when it comes to my prowess with a pistol, let’s just say I might do better with a good sized rock…
Now put a long gun in my hands, especially with a 50mm Leupold mounted on it, and I’m good almost to at least 350 yards…
Now y’all can go on back to whatever this thread has become 😂

A-hole, I promise I stay up later than you and get by with less sleep. Also, your stupidity does not bother me because you have to live with knowing you are just what you call others and I have to live with my age knowing you will be here someday. My mind is not what it once was and it takes several minutes to write a sentence that used to take 15 seconds. Remember if you ever make it to my age you may even be worse off, that is if you get this far.

It wasn't always like that. Growing up on a tobacco farm, I never shot anything but long guns until Patrol School. I had a bit of a learning curve. If you look at the film of the Murphy-ER game a few years ago in the playoffs, #30 at nose guard was my son. You may even spot me going nuts on the visitors side. Great memory.

Oooookkkkk .... You stay up later than me. My bad and apologies.

What these fellas don't know is that I was a supervisor in Mayberry for two years. I worked alongside the likes of Dan Kiger, Ricky Lawson, Anthony Chambers, the Jones Brothers, Bob Boyce and many other legends in that area. As a matter of fact, I attended a rival NWC high school. I've watched football all over this State thanks to my career. My stint in Charlotte was probably my favorite. Saw some excellent athletes play, including Sam Howell and Will Shipley.
Well, you sure don't act like a State Patrolman. I knew him ( Dan Kiger) very well and many other patrolmen in the area. Also many knew me from mainly one job but several other jobs. I knew one that lived off HWY 52 North, one in the Fairfield development, and one on old HWY 601. I also knew several others not as well but my job in the late 1980s & 1990s is how I got to know them.

You probably knew some of the older guys like Homer Young and Will Wilburn (just died a few weeks ago). They were all excellent Troopers.

Yes, Will lived in the Fairfield Development and still has 2 blue lights on the front of his house. We talked at some of the Mount Airy basketball games when he could make it. He and all the others were great men !

We got tobacco farm in common. Raised flue cured for 50 years. Ok I count since I was five because that’s when daddy put me on a 140 in field first time. Didn’t last long up there. Started priming when I was eight. Stupid little brother!
Anyway we grew up with 22s then 410s then Brownings in bigger gauges, then finally deer rifles. My introduction to pistols has been in last five years more or less (old and not as full of myself as I used to be)
If I had fifty years to practice maybe I could become a decent shot…
Probably ain’t happening 😂

Did you know Kenneth Garaventa, he may have been before your time. He passed away probably maybe in the late 2000s. He retired as a trooper and was in management of the Kentucky Derby Hosiery mill until he fully retired or passed away, I can't remember.

Wow pat yourself on the back did this post make you feel better. Such dumb crap. Who cares if you can shoot a pistol. And you embarrass yourself bragging about your education. No one gives two cents about that.
