Figured you would be alright. Most people that can live off the land are able to get by. It’s the older and younger folks that are concerning to us all. Glad you ok brother and stop talking about Wildcat arse!!! 😂😂Yeah I gave three deer to the fire department to feed the linemen I went 20 days without power not bitching bout it I made it fine but so glad to have power and water again it’s the little things
I forgot that one. Never ate there but remember where it was located. Most of my dining experiences were the other way, mostly because the woman I ended up marrying lived thataway…It was Back Creek Seafood. Started in 1970 as Harris Fish Camp, then sold. Not sure when it closed. Mr. Google knows all😊
We curbstomped em lol things looking up in Spruce Pine 🤠Figured you would be alright. Most people that can live off the land are able to get by. It’s the older and younger folks that are concerning to us all. Glad you ok brother and stop talking about Wildcat arse!!! 😂😂

Best bowl of oyster stew in NC. ( never had anything else there) Only one close is 42nd street oyster bar in Raleigh. They make every bowl individually when ordered.I wish The Seafood Shack would come to Mount Airy. I used to be in sales for a few years and went through Walkertown and they had some of the best seafood I have ever eat. If you are ever in Walkertown give it a try !

No I haven’t been out of power that long. Longest was 12 days during blizzard of 2000. Believe it or not, spent most of my life working 60 hours or more a week. We call it farming.
As I said to @Old Mountaineer, I hate it for yall.
Just try to temper your emotions a wee bit on what was a feel good type of thread.
Hate that and if you ever had interacted with me at all without being confrontational you would know it’s true.I know 30 plus people who washed away dead and gone this will be my last post on nc preps you people don’t have a clue what happened up here hard to act nice when you dumbasses listen to cnn this is purple 99 checking out permanently TD Friday you were always a class act I’m logging out
Because there’s no other thread on here revealant to mountain football is the only reason I’m hereHate that and if you ever had interacted with me at all without being confrontational you would know it’s true.
I just didn’t understand why you were on THIS thread doing your junk talking thing.
Hate it for anyone who has to go through this type of destruction.
However I do respond in kind occasionally when pressed.
Ask around people will tell you.
Hate that’s your last post, and on a thread with my name on it no less.
Hey, every thread on here goes to other topics and never stays on the thread topic. Chill out and let the man post what he needs to help get through the really bad times the Western Mountains have gone through. He has the right to say what he feels ! I thought you respected other people KIDD12. Tragedy can happen anywhere, even in your hometown or county. Then what did you mean by this statement or did I take it wrong, you said: I just didn’t understand why you were on THIS thread doing your junk talking thing.Hold on there now TD
Only thing I mentioned to Purple was to “pump the brakes” on beating the Wildcats of Ramseur. No mention, from me about what he had been through until the “flatlanders” remark. Read the entire thread before accusing me of not caring please.
Most threads do stay on topic. There is a faction of fans who tend to lead them astray occasionally however…
You must have taken it wrong I guess. I was referencing his remark about his teenagers on a mission and wouldn’t have mattered which Wildcats, I’m paraphrasing but that was the gist. Then what did you mean by this statement or did I take it wrong, you said: I just didn’t understand why you were on THIS thread doing your junk talking thing.
Me?Anyway, carry on with YOUR THREAD, and sorry I got off topic on YOUR THREAD !
I am not a deer hunter and seem not invited to post here. Go kill a deer and maybe you will be in a better mood...
Roadkill stew!!!Kidd, I drove from Mt Airy to Wilson Saturday to watch LRU spank Barton College in football.
I bet I saw 20 plus deer laid out on the side of the road.
So it came to me that I do not need to take up hunting with my guns or to buy a Bow.
I can just pick up a couple recent “departures” from the roadway!
TD I don’t know what that is? Never have clicked on things I’m unsure what they are. I trust you but those other folks not so much…
Johnny Cash song by someone Folsom Prison version, but a deer hunting song video I thought it was funny.TD I don’t know what that is? Never have clicked on things I’m unsure what they are. I trust you but those other folks not so much…

It is safe, I watched it 3 times, lol
Sad thing is, a man who never gets sick, woke up last Saturday morning coughing and running to bathroom. Fast forward a week, same scenario. Don’t feel that bad now but don’t trust eating yet. Missed a half day of work. Did catch calves Thursday so that’s good. Lost nine pounds too.Kidd I hope you are in tree this morning. Bucks are moving. Black powder opens in va next week. Getting excited just thinking about it.

Getting everything ready for next Saturday looks like.
I have seen a few more running through front yard. Gonna bush hog ten acres behind me this week and they won’t know where to go 😂
Thank you sir. Ain’t been sick in probably five years or more. Never even got the C. I’m feeling better today. Ate a small bowl of mashed potatos for supper last night. Starting to really dislike Gatorade. Getting there. Throw a stick at one of them brown animals for me!Hope you feel better soon.
Wanted to give you a report from 15 feet up a two man ladder sir. Today is first day of rifle season around here. So far have had six does, of various sizes, come sauntering by. Around 6:50 had the tall, narrow eight I have on camera make an appearance. He will be nice in another year but doubt he makes it. Thinking of you and yours sir. Hopefully things are improving. People tend to forget when things rotate out of the news cycle.Yeah this is off topic so remove if you need.
Hey Kidd next time you squeeze on a big old deer, keep us mountain folks in mind. Gonna have to live deer season through you and other for a while. Man with the state of things here deer is way down my list of priorities. Hopefully will get to go a day or 2 next month but who know at this time.
Even football can’t take priority for me at this time. Can’t say how happy I am that a few schools up here are trying to resume the season and give the young folks something to take their mind off the devastation.
Go Mountaineers and “flat lander deer killers”
Thank you sir. I have been blessed enough to say I have laid down the chainsaw this morning and found my way to a grown up field for a couple hours of muzzleloader opening day.Wanted to give you a report from 15 feet up a two man ladder sir.
