Yea I remember that being talked about, if they really get the level of talent out of Dudley then they’ll be a problem considering their new conference would really be just them and NGHS, and 5A playoffs shouldn’t be that crazy

Yea the NE thing is whatever I guess, really don’t understand the Grimsley thing though. 10 mins up the road to the defending state champ and a future conference rival? The air is definitely taken out of the game now I think. Same thing happened with Chambers and WC.
2023 it was at its peak & then the very next season guys that were mocking WC in a rivalry game end up transferring there and now Chambers sucks. I don’t complain about transferring but it does come to a point when it gets boring. I usually understand from a coaching perspective but it doesn’t seem like it’s much you can get from Grimsley that you can’t get at all at dudley.
Grimsley and dudley are in the same conference next year, if that’s what you mean. Grimsley’s OOC schedule is tougher than Dudley’s this year though, considering they play WC, West Fo & East Fo back to back, and they still need 2 more weeks filled but I doubt that’ll be a good opponent at this point. Dudley has Cardinal Gibbons so far for OOC

God I hate these type of announcements. College has made its way to HS. Just transfer, without the fanfare.

when the Triad 3a had Dudley, Northeast, Western Alamance all in it from about 06-09 there was no better conference in the state imo
