Shelby shouldn't have any due to losing 3 games and struggling on O line most of year. Plus not much of running game.
SP lost close game to Crest and to Clover.
But beating teams badly since.
Shelby hitting a stride now, and getting tons of Confidence.
Cant wait to see how it plays out Fri.

SP, except for the handoffs. Rain isn’t good for passing teams.

Anyway after seeing Sp twice this yr. Cant see them able to stop Shelby on passing, Question is can we stop the Red bone.

Lucky for us we have a 6'4'", 285lb left tackle who no one in Shelby will have an answer for.

In the 2009 State Championship South Johnson got to see a Raider offensive line that average 187 lbs put 42 points on there "D" after holding opponents to 11 points a game. Bring it.

Hard to tell a lot about these teams from conference play. Both dominated Chase, RS, and East Gaston. And I don't think East Rutherford is a good measuring stick for how good either team is because East gave up 42 to North Gaston and 44 to South Caldwell.

You Shelby guys like to bring up the 2nd round game last year but y'all got flat out dominated in the first game last year and of course had the advantage getting a mulligan 2 weeks later. South Point will be the best team Shelby has seen this season since Crest. I think the Red Raiders will take care of business in the trenches and win this one 31-21.

Practice games are over and it is time to see what SP and Shelby both have. Two things are for sure Shelby will be passing and SP will be diving. It is going to boil down to who holds on to the ball and who wants the win the most. Call me crazy but I anticipate a relatively low scoring game. Each team will have to play a nearly perfect game for all four quarters. Both teams can strike quickly and often. The entire team must be very disciplined to be the victor. Hope it is a safe game for all the players. With that being said, may the best team win! (SP 21 / Shelby 17). Enjoy the game....

Putting pressure their QB would have required putting less attention on Mauney.
Shelby doesn't have a Mauney but we still have to respect their run game. SP will be prepared. You can trust that.
