NC HS FB needs to go back to the way it was.....you had to finish in top 3 in conf to make playoffs. 1st rd to 4th rd was hard. This watered down version we have now doesn't work. It makes money and gives kids chance to play another game but it just doesn't work like it did years ago.

Question, you know we ran that trap and wore ya out for the inside/outside Veer/T attack. And you were the one that ask, "just planning on wearing ppl down, won't work down state. Yes I paraphrased you but I feel that is what you were asking. And how would a Jacket fan know about anything that works in the playoffs. Andrews has State titles, Cherokee has one, and the big three, geez must be near 30 titles......now where would Hayesville place their vast multitude of Football titles? But you should know what a championships look like. Mercy knows, Swain has not basketball nor baseball titles, but at least we made it the finals. Look you guys have a solid football team, don't look ahead and let's turn this back into a SMC tournament, like way back in 04'. I feel for some of these top seeds in these split conferences, with the likes an Andrews, Hayesville and then two the the top 3 playing ball as low as 9th and 12th.... Should be some great ones in there!
Agreed, 100 percent. If you have a Conference with 6 or 7 teams in it top three at least. 2 schools in a split conference, top team only! And then seed them to their RIP, it should rest in peace! Ah, I am starting to ramble now....
still, a win is a win. Now, on to the Conference title game for Swain.....would ask you to wish Swain luck, however I feel it would be back luck from you. ; )

You dhould see how the playoffs where when it was just 1 little a it was basically a SMC football tournament with with a couple of other teams sprinkled in

The more i think on this game the more i agree with an earlier post saying that this game will come down to the PATs. I can see both teams scoring three tds, so it could come down to whether or not we can get more 2pt conversions than we miss.

BK correct me if im wrong on this. If you thinking about going to the game I would be at the gate at the latest 6:30 and if you try to get here as early as that and you want to eat at the 3 restaurants we do have I would leave a little earlier so you dont lose time hitting that construction on the mountain it will take you about 15-20 minuetes to get threw if not longer but I think there done by 6

And when that feed goes out to 500 to 1000 folks that are out of state or just gotten too to make the trip, it's just a shame on the logic behind saying no. No big deal, this might be the first game in years that I can make. Are y'all checking out the lures I 've been posting ¿

Trust me there aren’t many involved in the athletic department that like the live streaming (yes swain county athletic department) they paid nothing to live stream the home games! And I was told by someone that would know at one of the home games 4000 people watched and it was the lowest gate they’ve had in years! If the athletic department doesn’t make money, they can’t fund sports

Well I and several others would gladly pay a per game bases. At least we have a Network for these thar hills of west caroline, and a dang classy job at it too I might add. now back the the baits?
Gary is a class act and Coach or his son both make listening and watching the game enjoyable. A lot of football knowledge on those broadcasts. I understand the money issues for the athletic departments but I also see it being a great thing for the elderly or alumni who no longer live in the area. I would hope all the true fans that are physically able go to all the games and support these young student athletes
I didn’t miss any Wildcats games last year and have only missed 2 this year due to family commitments and when that happens I will have maroon devil’s network on the tv and the Graham county sports network on my phone when possible lol. I’m in hog heaven with 2 games going at once
All I need is a Tablet and I can keep up with all scores on ncprep while watching 2 games at once LoL
