Don’t be butt hurt. You guys got outcoached. It shouldn’t have been close. How many teams had Mitchell this year with a winning record ? 1? It’s the same for the past 10 years. Run up that win/loss record against the conference…play Heritage, get destroyed. Rinse and repeat. Avery has better athletes, always has. It’s time.

Honestly I don't think anyone but maybe Avery fans were expecting the outcome of the Mitchell game, but I hope they build off the win and be more competitive next year. I think Mitchell will be better next year, Heritage will still be good but maybe not quite what they are this year, Draughn and the bottom three teams I have no clue probably more or less the same. Maybe Avery can be that third team competing for conference. Really I just hope the conference is more competitive all the way around it's been bad the last couple of years with only one or two good teams each year.

No. But anyone can see the decline in Mitchell football. It’s obvious. Not that they haven’t been really good, but it’s the way of the cycle. The offense is stale.

Not a rebuilding year. This is the new reality. Those fans have been unbearable lol. Heritage is the real deal, but coach Robinson will finally retire. That’s the only coach that I know will consistently put a good team on the field. Our wrestling program pulls a lot from football. When we finally sync those two, it will be lights out. Our kids had fun last night. Didn’t see alot of fun from the boys from spruce pine
