NORTHAMPTON CO. HS HAS MOVED....it appears the school board moved the kids from what used to be Northampton-East, over to the building that used to be Northampton-West
This was irrelevant for football this year, and will probably be irrelevant for all sports since this is so far East, but for what it's worth, the longitude actually has changed for Northampton Co. High School (assuming that the address on maxpreps and google maps is correct)....when the Northampton-East & Northampton-West consolidated into one Northampton 5 or 6 years ago, they originally closed West and the one school was at what had been East (longitude 77.316) (which was the original Northampton Co. HS going way back, before West existed, or maybe when those folks went to Gumberry), but it appears that now the county has closed that building, and moved Northampton Co. HS to the building formerly known as Northampton-West (longitude 77.655), moving them along the West to East list now between Rocky Mount Prep and KIPP Pride, instead of between Jones & South Creek)
