Wind and Rain is Shelby’s nemesis in this one. Hard to catch a wet ball and even harder to pinpoint a pass in 15 mph wind. Best front 7 on D may decide this one.
Burns won by 2 scores last time and could have very easily been 4 scores. Closer game than last time but believe Burns still wins by double digits.
Agreed. Although Lee can put some zip on those passes and be less effected by the wind.
Currently in the Burns HS area it is starting to drizzle. Time will tell if the current 80% chance of rain will come in droves or not.
Huge disruption on the team happened Wednesday of that week that took much more than 2 days to recover from. No disruptions this week. Burns will see a different team tonight. Should be a good one!

In Lawndale and it’s sure isn’t free 😂 In Cleveland co. Them jokers charging 10 bucks for regular season games. Last week was what 7 bucks for a first round game at Maiden

The distraction doesn’t change that front 7 getting man handled. There is no game plan that can change. This isn’t the typical Shelby teams…period. I do not care what anyone says…it’s not a kick them while they are down mentality, just reality. Burns very well could lose but I’d bet any amount of money in my pocket on it. I have always respected Shelby, been to 5 of their last 7 ships to support but again I’m just being honest. The depth isn’t there anywhere and if you can’t be honest and stand behind your team 100% and admit that it’s just spoiled. There isn’t a stable of back to throw at us, there isn’t freaks out on the edges waiting for Daylin to throw him the ball. There isn’t 4-5 bonified D1 studs pinning their ears back at the Q or chasing down a above average back in the second level. I figured burns would have beaten Shelby by more the last game, and easily could have but a win is a win. This is Shelby football, it’s playoff time….but it’s also a time when I look at nearly every position on the field and feel that burns is as good or better. That’s not been said in the last 7 or so years with the likes of Montgomery, Ruff, and that big front 7 with Petty, Byers, Ramseur and Tate. Like lawndog said…another firework show in Lawndale next Friday night. Bulldogs by 3 TD’s.
