Nope, don't play golf. Personally don't like have the patience. For a kid shining my shoes, nope have done that myself for 18+ years. Also, please don't say a kid a has to prove something to me before I will let them play. However, a kid must prove at during the season and off season. He or she must have the grades and maintain a adult attitude. The profession that I have had I have seen 18 and 19 yr old men come home in a box. So I don't have sympathy for a 18 yr old athlete who couldn't play because he wasn't the right color, had the right last name, or couldn't afford it. If you want my sympathy on that look in the dictionary it is between shit and syhpalis. As for dry cleaner/town advocate I was in the same room when he and others approached the principle new and said that the coach that was there was not playing kids from maxton because he is a racist.
Also, since you got the checkbook out. Be the first to start the program, For that same baseball team, my dad and I sponsored a kid that could not afford to go. Also, for the 2 girls fast pitch teams that went to Louisanna 2 yrs ago, my daughter was on one of those teams they did boot drives and went to different walmarts in different towns asking for donations. Funny, all the girls were able to go.
What I would do would be to raise money for the kids that live in 28364. Not the ones that have the zip code but go to Prospect or Oxendine. But for the ones that went to Townsend that are trying to get ahead in life. Not just athletes, but for your mathletes that are out there too. Open up your own account and keep it private or go public and let the town know what you are doing. There are many people that would like to see any and all kids succeed in life, and I am one of them, but when a kid does not want for themselves then I don't have room for them.
Done with going back and forth and giving you lessons that you should already know. If you want the kids to succeed then figure a way for them to succeed. If you don't want them to succeed then just keep bitching about the problem, it might get better.
