Many parents never seem to learn they are not football coaches. I have never understood why they think they know more about football than coaches. They need to stay in the stands and watch the games.Let’s just hope for sanity shake and all that it’s someone who can over the parents and hopefully the parents will like bc tbh it was a mess this past season
It's high school football, it's not like these coaches make millions of dollars! High school coaches can't recruit (legally) they have who they have in their school. Coaching matters, however, a lot of time in high school football it's about the jimmies and joes not the x and o's. Coaching supplements in NC are so bad that many coaches work for .10 cent an hour and spend a lot of time away from their families just to get yelled at by parents who know nothing about football. I feel bad for high school football coaches in North Carolina. Many parents never seem to learn they are not football coaches. I agree. It takes a special breed to put in the time for very little in return. From late July into at least early November (and even later than that if a team makes a deep playoff run) football coaches have most all their time taken up. And Friday nights can run very late if you have a road game with a team 1+ hour away. By the time you get back to your home school, make sure the kids are taken care of and clean things up, most coaches probably don't head home until way after midnight. All this for very little reward. It's high school football, it's not like these coaches make millions of dollars! High school coaches can't recruit (legally) they have who they have in their school.
