Rams were missing two key defenders - Cobb with a foot issue and Shryock with an illness. They'll need them both against Eastern Alamance.

don't think that was grady barrett kicking the XP.'s.........announcer said first name was Logan...didn't catch the last name.................i know Grady and that wasn't him...........

The other kicker is Logan Hammock, but he was listed as No. 32 on the original roster. He was having some leg issues in the pre-season ... but who knows? The roster has some issues. I'll try to check it out.

Reidsville has for years been a football powerhouse....but having accurate and up to date roster listings of the players seems to be beyond the programs grasp.........................

We'll be hoping Page shows up well vs. Tabor tonight .... it'll make Ram fans feel better!

Rockingham was awful. Rams get nothing out playing such a bad team. We can’t even work on simple stuff in a game like that.

Which is an important part of any successful program. Neglect of these simple things reflects poorly, especially on the road. A quality program would have at least ONE accurate and up to date roster in the pressbox at least 30 minutes before game time. Preferably several of them. Most schools do have copying machines at their disposal.

Yea our tackling is bad. If we tackle like that against EA it will be over by half. But I believe we will keep it close

Think we can do more than keep it close. This team has a lot back from last season, this isn't a doom and gloom year

Well EA beat northern guilford tonight. Ran ball down their throats. That’s our weakness it seems. Inside line play. Tackling. If we start controlling line of scrimmage then yes il take us vs anyone

I could see a lineup of jd mccain and cobb at linebacker really helping the rams.

I like that lineup. That's what I thought it was going to be. I also like us utilizing 4 running backs. Redd, Widerman, Poteat and Cobb.
Yep Cobb Widerman, poteat, and Redd need to share duties at running back at less until one of them separate themselves from the rest as the premier runningback. Although it seems poteat and redd are the most elusive backs between the 4. Widerman and Cobb are north and south power backs we’re going to have to have a threatening running game that teams respect or they will just put an extra player or 2 in pass coverage. The game against Eastern Alamance is going to tell a lot. And may expose a lot. Page already exposed our defensive weaknesses. I’m pretty sure EA watch that game film. Reidsville always keeps quality skill players. Our Achilles hill right now is quality depth on the Offensive and defensive line.

I'm not convinced that Lee should be the starter after that game. I'd like to see Denny get more reps with the starters just to compare them.
I don't think it is even particularly close. Denny has looked much more poised in the pocket with a stronger and more accurate arm. He has also thrown the screen pass much better than Al Lee.

Remember we were playing Rockingham . Now if he played against EA and shows out then maybe they make a change. But our screen passes need to be quicker. Take way too long to throw it

It wasn't just against Rockingham though. Denny had several impressive passes against Western Alamance, including a beautiful touchdown pass on a fade route to the end zone at the end of the game. Not to mention he has regularly outperformed Lee in scrimmages against some pretty decent teams.

Keep in mind that Lee is coming off surgery. Denny is really good, we have a good problem at Qb. I'm not getting into the lee vs denny debate, I like them both. We have other issues that are bigger though.

That was my point he needs some reps with the starters. He usually gets put in with backups so you can't expect the same results as Lee. They both got to play against Rockingham with starters and Denny looked better to me. They won't let Denny play against EA so how will he show out?

Two quality QBs ... a lot of teams would like to have No. 2.

Stop trying to cause controversy around this team, the coaches could care less about your obviously biased opinion (new account) 🙄

It shouldnt be controversial to expect an accurate roster in the press box. There is more to the job than just coaching. Radio folks, PA announcers and other media, etc ALSO have jobs to do that depends on the cooperation of the program/coaches/school to provide accurate (AND TIMELY) rosters. Its not rocket science.

No surprises here. This is definitely not any sort of rivalry as Rock. Co. never wins and the Rams always trash them. Why is it that Rock Co. cannot build a successful football program? What is going on there?

It is not a biased opinion, I don't have a dog in that fight except for wanting what is best for the team. it's not just me either, I've talked with several others who hold the same opinion. This is a new account that I made about a year ago, but I've been a longtime viewer of threads on here.

It’s all politics there. The best player don’t always play. It’s who you know or what parents gives money to the school and program. In years past they had some ballers that pretty much never got PT . I have 3 kids and another on the way and live in Rockingham district but when time comes I most likely will be putting kids in the IB program at Reidsville.

Just for reference, Rockingham had Kyle Pinnix playing linebacker in middle school. They clearly don't care about talent there.

Reidsville got politics too, just not nearly as bad as Rockingham.
