I want to give the Northeastern coaches props tonight. I know coach wasn’t there but it was apparent that they had been working hard with the kids on defense because those boys we’re playing with energy I haven’t seen in a long time. Coach Moore was right about the kicker to, he told me to watch and see. Coaches did one fantastic job in making adjustments.
Your Dogs will be ready come playoff time. That game with ED will be huge and will tell a lot. I was so happy tonight because finally the NE team that I knew could be finally showed out. I cant even find something to complain about. Hertford County comes to town next week and that will be a huge game for us. I wish you could see this game on NFHS so you could see what I’ve been talking about. Our coaches have really worked hard to make the proper adjustments.
That schedule with Havelock,Clinton, and Hoggard was brutal. Kudos to your coach for scheduling them. This season coach didn’t schedule our ooc nowhere near as hard as we’ve had the past few years. I’m keeping an eye on West Craven and Whiteville, I just can’t get a gauge on them. Whiteville didn’t look good to me against Clinton and I did expect a better game being it was played at home. I watched the West Craven vs Havelock game and WC looked good that night.

I haven’t made any promises or guarantees about the Panthers this year. But they’re playing better than I thought they would at any point. I still think Clinton is the cream of the eastern crop. And I still think East Duplins lack of experience at key positions might catch up to them. As for your Eagles. I haven’t seen them, so I’m not going to say anything definitive one way or the other. But if history tells us anything, it’s that they have a tendency to come up short when it matters. The good thing about that is that they’re going to have a chance to prove it on the field and none of what we say matters.

Great post, and my apologies. I stay in the defensive mode because of all the fire that comes our way from the DC teams. I am friends with @Wizard of the East and hung out with him when I went to Clinton. I rode with Otis to the state championship game in Winston Salem and I hang out with dogs79 at some of the games. Oldway is going to have to buy me a steak dinner soon so I’m looking forward to that. I’m also good friends with a huge ED fan that isn’t on these threads. His name is Brad Whaley and he lives right down from ED high.

I saw that Wiz. I’m sure you read my posts but I haven’t ever seen Northeastern play as good as they did tonight. I think if we can stay in opposite brackets that we have a good shot at going to Sampson County for the eastern championship. Check out the article on highschoolot that I posted

He is #1 ranked in 2a for yards per game and is sitting at #3 in 2a for total yards.
Tyselle Spencer (sr) ran for 218 yards on 8 carries
He is ranked #6 in 2a with only 55 total carries. He’s averaging 186 yards a game on a team that runs a dual threat offense and loves to pass.
Northeastern had two receivers with over 100 yards receiving last night. Both Tyquan Harney (sr) and Tyelle Saunders (jr) had outstanding performances.
The Northeastern defense recorded 5 sacks and had 3 interceptions on the night.
On special teams Northeastern kick Johnathan Akers (jr) was 8-8 on pat’s and hit his one and only fg attempt of 28 yards. This was a big surprise and coach had told me the kicking troubles were about to be solved.

2A football in the east is a tough road to hoe. Where do you put Clinton on your list?
Is that a star symbol or a snowflake? John I’d put Wrh at #4 in the east at this point in the season. What are your thoughts on that?

I agree with your post. The NE game Friday night against Hertford County is a big game. Whoever plays them has to contain Kaveon Rodgers which isn’t easy. That game will be our conference championship.

Hey goob maybe your coaches could get some film of the Tarboro win. We held them to one score in the 2nd half. We kept the qb in check for the most part, he made a few plays but had 3 ints. He is a load to bring down. Good luck in your game with them.

No hate here. Playing field not balanced. Don’t have a problem with what’s going on in *️⃣ but DC can’t. *️⃣has the best 2a team I’ve seen, even better than the 21 Shelby team. If y’all don’t win it, it’s not because you don’t have the talent. Does 34 still have 04 carrying his pod cast?
