New Bern's Bobby Curlings...

will retire at the end of this year after 32 years in the NC school system. Coach Curlings posted a 115-39-1 record with New Bern over 12 years as HC while accumulating 4 State Championship rings, also won one with Bertie in 1995. More than 50 of his players went on to sign to play college football with New Bern being nationally ranked by Max Preps in 2012 and 2014. What a great man, teacher and coach, he will be missed. Go Bears!
