I know alot of people who work for Miller through the company I work for in Eden alot of those folks from Reildsville and I hear you could drink a cold one for dinner break limit one
Just checked and WXII 12 is about the same, maybe 1 degree different.This is Weather.com but our WXII Channel 12 will have a forecast outlook for tomorrow night. But got to get it later.

Our Mayor back then had a bridge named after him and was a top office/employee for a local sock mill. Bridge, Sock Mills, Miller Plant ?

When I came to the Andrews/Starmount game I enjoyed the flat farmlands and noticed a few chicken houses. Pretty country and nice older homes

Yep pretty much in Surry Co back in them days they wanted no big paying jobs in town that Miller plant was huge for Eden I've spent alot of time there TD last 9 years there is alot of folks in that town who ain't hurting over the years Mt Airy has hurt themselves by the way is that land you talking about between pinestate building and express lube seems like that's been for sale for years

My son will get to play against him if he goes there. Brevard had a DE Steffon Canady that was really good. He was defensive player of the year in the conference.
Does or did Brevard High School use to play their games at Brevard College

Mount Airy played Brevard in the late 70s or early 80s playoff game and it seemed to be a large football stadium for a high school. Brevard had huge concrete home side bleachers and the entrance was an opening through the bottom center of their bleachers and seems they came onto the field down a hill that we said reminded us of Clemson.
I remember we played Watauga in the playoffs at Appalachian State on their astroturf. I may be remembering it wrong.

I was their with my dad as a little kid. Winner would win state. Was early 80s. MA was 3A. Brevard fans threw stuff at MA players going to locker room at half.

I was in my early 30s and married for a year or 2. We had a friend that brought a Musket he shot & reloaded every time Mount Airy scored and his son played for Mount Airy. That was for every game Mount Airy played for the years his son played. Can't be doing that these days !
By 2K pages so far and it may go on for another week as did the Tville Mitchell game did.
